HGTV’s Schedule for May 2026 Includes Return of Fan-Favorite Shows

Spring has sprung and the HGTV May 2026 schedule has some treasures in store — including a highly anticipated “Home Town” spinoff with Ben and Erin Napier and the return of some fan-favorite shows. See what’s on HGTV in May.

New & Returning HGTV Shows Premiering in May 2026

HGTV fans are thrilled to see some beloved shows returning and a new “Home Town” spinoff series on the schedule.

“My Lottery Dream Home” season 19 returns with new episodes beginning May 1 after a brief hiatus. Look for new episodes starring David Bromstad airing Fridays at 9:00 p.m. ET. According to HGTV, the premiere episode will have David meeting returning clients Steve and Jen in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains to help them find a “cozy mountain cabin as a second home base in addition to their Florida beach hub.”

“Zillow Gone Wild” is back for season 3! Look for the show to premiere on May 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET, featuring host Jack McBrayer. The season promises more wacky and wild properties, with an HGTV press release sharing that “a house built into a rock cave in Arkansas and a bunker home situated 26 feet beneath the Las Vegas desert” are in the mix this season. “In a special crossover finale episode, he’ll meet up with HGTV star David Bromstad to check out an international spy inspired home in Reunion, Florida.”

Ben and Erin Napier’s spinoff show “Home Town: Inn This Together” premieres on May 10 at 8 p.m. ET. The Napiers help friends Jim and Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell restore the 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel. According to the network, “The enterprising trio believes the 25,000-square-foot space that’s been vacant for 40 years will be the perfect setting for a hotel, food venue and storefront, but they’ll face an array of challenges on the way to make their dream a reality, including: crumbling walls, flooded floors, seven figure budget dilemmas and a devastating fire that severely damages the hotel post renovation.”

“Castle Impossible” returns with season 2 on May 26 at 9 p.m. ET. In December 2025, HGTV announced that the show would be back for a second season, noting that “renovators Daphne and Ian Fig will continue the restoration of her late grandfather’s 500-year-old chateau on a 130-acre estate just outside of Paris, France.”

This season, the couple “will focus on the revival and sustainability of their historic Chateau de Lesigny by expanding their wedding and event businesses to finance the much-needed renovations. In the eight new episodes, Daphne and Ian will work on pivotal rooms for their businesses including a honeymoon suite in the dove tower, a tea salon, a dungeon tavern and a library, in addition to restoring the chateau’s gatehouse as a residence for Daphne’s granny.”
