Two months after HGTV revealed that “Zillow Gone Wild” has been renewed for a third season, the network put out a call on February 20, 2026, for homeowners who want to be featured on the show.
That’s a big change, since the homes that host Jack McBrayer toured in previous seasons were discovered by producers as they combed through listings on the Zillow Gone Wild Instagram account, which inspired the show’s creation. Think your home is zany enough to be featured? Here’s what producers are looking for…
Here’s How to Submit Your Home for HGTV’s ‘Zillow Gone Wild’
Producers are asking homeowners to “submit photos of your wild home — or room, yard, bunker, castle — we don’t judge,” according to HGTV’s announcement, which said “chosen submissions will be featured on an upcoming episode of ‘Zillow Gone Wild.'”
The online submission form says anything goes — a “wild garage, quirky kitchen, or unique home,” noting that spaces do not have to be for sale and that “international properties are welcome.”
To submit a space you rent or own, you must be 18 or older, per the submission form. Producers encourage people to “share a little something about this space or home” including “what makes it wild and what was the idea behind it?” They added, “Bragging is wholeheartedly welcome here!”
Photos of the space must be uploaded so producers can see the home, but the form says those submitting don’t necessarily have to be “willing to be on-camera.”
The Zillow Gone Wild Instagram account previously announced the search for homeowners on February 12, noting that those who “submit ASAP” have the best chance of being featured.
‘Zillow Gone Wild’ Will Return in 2026 With 16 New Episodes
HGTVHGTV announced in December that “Zillow Gone Wild” had been renewed for a third season, with 16 new episodes planned. Since its 2024 debut, the show has grown in popularity, attracting “more than 14.8 million viewers across linear and streaming” in its second season, which included the series’ highest-rated episode to date.
Hosted by McBrayer, best known for his comedic roles on “30 Rock” and animated hits like “Wreck-It Ralph,” HGTV’s press release on the renewal said that in season three, “Zillow Gone Wild” will continue to feature the “weirdest, wackiest and wildest properties on the market.”
As with previous seasons, each space McBrayer visits will be “ranked on its unique attributes, and one house will be selected as the ‘wildest’ of them all at the end of each episode.”
