HGTV to Premiere 5 New Series With Superstar Hosts

One year after HGTV fans were stunned by the cancellation of several beloved shows, the network’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, announced a full slate of new programming on May 13, 2026, including the launch of five new series featuring superstar hosts. Here’s what’s coming…

‘Crashers’ Reboot With Jonathan Knight — Premieres June 8

One of the shows that didn’t get renewed in 2025 was “Fixer to Fabulous,” starring New Kids on the Block star and home restoration expert Jonathan Knight. But as EntertainmentNow previously reported, Knight will return with a new show — a reboot of the classic HGTV hit “Crashers.”

The “high-energy, ambush-style renovation series” will premiere on Monday, June 8 at 10 p.m. Eastern time, per HGTV. Knight will surprise unsuspecting homeowners with a free, 72-hour renovation of a space in their house that they get to choose. But there is a catch — the homeowners have to agree to three rules first: they have no say in the design, the renovation starts right away, and they have to leave their home for three full days.

‘Extreme Buyers Club’ With Noel Collier — Premieres July 21

Texas real estate agent Noel Collier will star in “Extreme Buyers Club,” premiering on July 21 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. According to HGTV, she has a knack for finding dream homes for “clients with the most wildly unique property requests,” from a recent divorcée who wants a home with land for dozens of llamas, to a “ghost-obsessed couple searching for a haunted home.”

In an Instagram post on May 13, Collier called the show’s announcement “one of the biggest moments of my life and career.”

‘Roast My Rental’ With Leslie Jones — Premieres July 24

HGTV has had so much success with comedians hosting HGTV shows, from Retta’s “Ugliest House in America” to Jack MacBrayer’s “Zillow Gone Wild,” that now SNL alum Leslie Jones is joining the family with “Roast My Rental,” premiering on July 24 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.

But she won’t be starring in the series alone. HGTV fan-favorite Jasmine Roth joins Jones after she finds “America’s worst short-term rentals” and calls in Roth to fix up the places in just 72 hours. According to HGTV, “they’ll fix the flaws, transform the houses into top-tier vacation escapes and give the ‘roastees’ a chance at redemption when the next guests come to stay.”

‘A Very Haunted Renovation’ With Anna Camp & Michel Smith Boyd — Premieres September 15

HGTV fans who’ve been missing two-time “Rock the Block” winner Michel Smith Boyd will be very happy about this upcoming competition show! The six-episode “A Very Haunted Renovation” will be hosted by “Scream 7” actress Anna Camp and Boyd will serve as the show’s design expert.

Premiering on September 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, “A Very Haunted Renovation” will follow “six brave renovators and designers who will stay at one of the most haunted houses in America for 31 days with only one mission: completing the renovations,” per HGTV’s press release. Each episode will feature “frightening challenges” with Boyd mentoring and judging each week alongside a celebrity guest.

‘House Shock’ With Arielle Vandenberg & Steve Lewis — Premieres September 22

The fifth new series WBD announced is called “House Shock,” set to premiere on September 22 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. Designer and funny influencer Arielle Vandenberg, who boasts 1.4 million Instagram followers, will host the 20-episode first season, and former “Battle on the Beach” winner Steve Lewis will lead the show’s construction team.

The premise? HGTV says “unsuspecting homeowners nominated by their sneaky loved ones will receive surprise makeovers for the spaces they’ve neglected, abandoned or just plain hate.” Then, with “stealthy distractions to keep the recipient away,” HGTV moves in with hidden cameras and shocks the homeowners with “dramatic room reveals.”
