Return Date Announced for Season 3 of HGTV Hit Show

Thirteen months after the second season of “Renovation Aloha” premiered on HGTV, a third season of the show starring Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama will debut, the network announced on February 23, 2026. The new season will launch on March 31 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Fellow HGTV Stars Celebrate Return of ‘Renovation Aloha’

The Kalamas, both Hawaii natives, have been busy renovating homes and filming a new season over the past year, plus they took time to compete on “Rock the Block” in 2025.

HGTV captioned a photo of the couple by writing, “See Tristyn & Kamohai tackle their toughest Hawaii flips yet—from a property with a shocking lava‑tube discovery to a massive multi-home project in Hilo.”

The parents of two — daughter Yasiel, 9, and son Yale, 7 — wrote in the Instagram comments, “We’re back!!!!”

Multiple HGTV friends cheered on the couple, including “100 Day Dream Home” star Brian Kleinschmidt, who quipped, “My second favorite show on HGTV! 😉” and “Help! I Wrecked My Home” star Jasmine Roth, who left six applause emoji — “👏👏👏👏👏👏”

HGTV Fans Excited to See ‘Renovation Aloha’ Returning

Many fans shared how happy they were to hear “Renovation Aloha” is mere weeks away, including someone who wrote, “Yay!! I love your renovations and beautiful designs!! Very sweet family too!”

Another enthused, “Yay!!!! We can’t wait. Wooo Hoo!! ❤️❤️🙌🙌🔥🔥”

When the Kalamas aren’t building and filming, they run a real estate company aiming to educate and empower fellow Hawaiians interested in flipping homes. Kamohai’s family has lived in the Kaneohe area for 64 generations, per HGTV, which means he has a giant family — many of whom are often seen working on the show.

Though they love where they come from, Kamohai admitted to TV Insider in 2024 that Hawaii is not the best place for ensuring the longevity of homes.

“We are in a unique place because we’re surrounded by the ocean, so our homes just get beat up,” he told the outlet. “They are very succumbing to the natural elements. I think because of who we are and where we are from, we have the capability to find these homes and breathe aloha back into them in the most beautiful place, without changing them too much.”

He then explained that his goal in flipping homes is “paying homage to the community and neighborhood these houses are in, but then bringing a product to life the local community can be proud of.”

Mark your calendar for the third season of “Renovation Aloha” on March 31 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
