BTS is officially back — and they brought a major Hollywood surprise with them. Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart stars alongside all seven members of the K-pop supergroup in the brand-new music video for “Swim,” the lead single off BTS’ long-awaited comeback album, Arirang. The video dropped on March 20, 2026, and fans around the world are already losing their minds over it.

The “Swim” music video was filmed on location in Lisbon, Portugal, aboard a cruise ship. BTS’ seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — appear as voyagers throughout the visual, while Reinhart plays a protagonist seemingly longing for a lost connection. The synth-heavy, mellow track is a more reflective side of BTS compared to their high-energy classics, signaling a mature new chapter for the group.

Reinhart, who had been quietly rumored to appear in the video ahead of its release, confirmed her involvement on social media shortly after the drop. She jumped on the viral TikTok trend of asking followers to “watch my friends for a second” — with the friends in question being the members of BTS themselves.

The Forbidden Fruits actress, who recently premiered her new SXSW film alongside Lola Tung and Victoria Pedretti, called the experience one of a kind. Fans of both Reinhart and BTS immediately flooded social media with reactions, making the collaboration one of the most-talked-about moments of the day.

About BTS’ Comeback Album Arirang

Arirang marks BTS’ first full seven-member studio release in several years, following each member completing their mandatory South Korean military service. The album is now available to stream globally, and “Swim” is just the first taste of what the group has in store.

For fans who want more, Netflix is delivering in a big way. On March 21, the platform will stream BTS: The Comeback Live | Arirang, a live performance broadcast from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, with the iconic Gyeongbokgung palace as the backdrop. One week later, on March 27, Netflix will premiere BTS: The Return, an intimate documentary that takes fans behind the scenes of the making of Arirang.

BTS World Tour 2026-2027

The comeback does not stop at music and streaming. BTS has announced a massive world tour spanning 2026 and 2027, with 82 stops across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia — making it one of the most expansive tours in the group’s career.

The tour kicks off with three nights in Goyang, South Korea, before heading to Tokyo for two nights. U.S. fans will get their chance too, with Tampa confirmed among the American stops, and more U.S. dates sprinkled throughout the global run.

For ARMY members who have been counting down the days since BTS’ hiatus, the Arirang era — complete with Lili Reinhart, Netflix specials, and a world tour — is shaping up to be the biggest BTS moment in years.
