Reality star Kim Kardashian has revealed the one moment her mother, Kris Jenner, insisted should have been cut from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Kim, 45, was chatting to her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian, 41, on an episode of the latter’s podcast, “Khloé In Wonder Land,” when she made the revelation.
The incident in question involved an altercation between Kim and her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, 46, that unfortunately turned physical.
Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Had a ‘Slapping Fight’

Tension boiled over when Kim and Khloé confronted Kourtney about the attitude she’d been exhibiting recently. After heated words were exchanged, Kim took a swing at her older sister while the cameras were rolling, resulting in a “slapping fight” that caused a pause in production.
Kim told Khloé’s podcast, “Mom was like, ‘This can never see the light of day.” She continued, “She was freaking out, and I was like, ‘You’re not in it, so it is making the cut.”
Khloé then recalled that Kris went on to say, “sisters don’t hit each other,” resulting in Kim disagreeing with her and saying, “yeah they do.”
Of course, the confrontation did air, becoming one of the most iconic moments (rightly or wrongly, given that physical violence is such a controversial subject) in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” history.
‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Aired for 20 Seasons
GettyPer IMDb, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” aired from 2007 until 2021. It comprised 20 seasons and 292 episodes including specials.
That the confrontation between Kim and Kourtney stands out is testament to the impact it had on viewers.
Thankfully, Kris Jenner needn’t have worried, as the incident hasn’t had a negative impact on her daughters’ careers, as both sisters are flourishing.
The pair continue to star, along with their mother and the rest of their blended family, in “The Kardashians” — a retooled continuation of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that began in 2022 — and both have added to their acting credits with roles in some prominent movies and television shows.
Kim’s credits since 2020 include two “PAW Patrol” movies, the twelfth season of the anthology horror series “American Horror Story,” and the legal drama series “All’s Fair,” on which Kris is an executive producer (per IMDb). Kourtney has gone on to appear in the movie “He’s All That” (per IMDb).
Here’s hoping the Kardashians continue to avoid further physical altercations in their ongoing reality series!
