Celine Dion may be closer than ever to returning to the stage, and in Paris, fans believe the signs are already all around them. Over the past few days, posters featuring her lyrics and song titles have quietly appeared across the city.
Phrases from songs like “Power of Love,” “S’il suffisait d’aimer,” and“My Heart Will Go On” have been spotted on walls and outside well-known spots, including Cafe du Louvre.

Reports Point to Concert Series at Paris La Défense Arena
French-Canadian outlet La Presse reported that the posters are part of a broader campaign tied to a potential concert series.
The report notes that Dion is expected to take the stage at Paris La Défense Arena, with multiple shows planned each week throughout September and October.
GettyThe 40,000-seat venue had originally been scheduled as a stop on her “Courage World Tour” in 2020.
Those plans were first postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later disrupted following her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome.
Health Battle Forced Tour Cancellations
In 2022, Dion made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining dates of her “Courage World Tour” as she focused on her health following a diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome. This rare neurological and autoimmune condition causes muscle stiffness and can affect movement and speech.
At the time, she shared a message with fans, saying: “I always give 100 percent when I do my shows, but my condition is not allowing me to give you that right now.”
She added, “For me to reach you again, I have no choice but to concentrate on my health at this moment, and I have hope that I’m on the road to recovery. This is my focus, and I’m doing everything that I can to recuperate.”
The condition had also caused earlier disruptions, including a delay to her planned return to her Las Vegas residency in 2021 due to “severe and persistent muscle spasms.”
Determined Return: Dion Says She Will Not Give Up the Stage
Despite the challenges, Dion has been open about her determination to return to the stage.
Her journey was documented in the 2024 film “I Am: Celine Dion,” where she reflected on stepping away from performing and the emotional weight of canceling shows.
“If somebody sees me have a good time for a moment with my family, and I was supposed to be on stage, and they had a ticket that night, they have the right to come to me and say, ‘Hey,'” she said, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. “I can’t just do whatever I want. I can’t go out. I’m stuck.”
She also spoke about how deeply she misses performing, saying: “It’s not hard to do a show, you know? It’s hard to cancel a show.”
She added, “It’s been a struggle. I miss it so much, the people. I miss them. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl… I won’t stop.”
In a 2024 interview with Hoda Kotb, she made her intentions clear, saying: “I’m gonna go back onstage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands. I will.”
Dion has already taken steps toward that goal. She returned to the stage during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, delivering an emotional performance of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour” from the Eiffel Tower.
Her last full concert took place in March 2020 in Newark, New Jersey. Now, if the Paris reports prove accurate, fans may soon see her back where she feels most at home, on stage.
