Charlie Puth is a new dad!
In a carousel of photos on Instagram, the singer revealed that his wife, Brooke Sansone, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in March.
Charlie Puth Reveals His Baby Boy’s Name
Charlie Puth appears to be enjoying fatherhood after the announcement of the birth of his son.
In his series of photos, the singer posted several of the baby boy while covering his face. One of those photos included Puth feeding the baby while cradling him on his lap.
“Hey Jude,” Puth captioned the post, announcing his son’s name and adding a blue heart emoji. The caption, of course, was a reference to the classic song by the Beatles.
In the caption, Puth also revealed the birth date of the baby boy: March 13, 2026.
Fans flocked to the comments to congratulate him and his wife, Brooke Sansone. “He’s perfect. Welcome to the party Jude,” one person commented.
“Big congrats,” another wrote. “What a memorable year this is for you and your fam.”
Puth had sung the national anthem at Super Bowl LX in February 2026. So the birth of Jude truly was yet another exciting moment for him and his family.
Charlie Puth Announced He and Brooke Sansone Were Expecting in a Music Video
Charlie Puth first revealed to the world that he and wife Leslie Sansone were expecting their first bundle of joy in an unexpected way.
In his music video for “Changes,” released in October 2025, Puth sang about navigating the different phases of life.
The video had a throwback feel, as Puth sang along with the song with clay animations and a sky background. However, he had a surprise up his sleeve for fans.
Sansone appears near the end of the music video as she and Puth cradle her stomach. The couple grinned excitedly as they dropped the news that they were expecting.
Puth would later go on to talk about the big news publicly on network television.
“I’m going to be a dad. I was told not to reveal the gender,” Puth shared in October 2025 on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Puth revealed then that the baby would be arriving in March 2026.
He also quipped, “I hope baby likes music because it’s the only thing I’m good at.”
Surely, with a musical dad (and name!), Baby Jude will love music. Congrats to Puth, his wife, and their loved ones on their new addition!
