Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, became a grandfather again this week. Not by his sons, but by his daughter, Daisy Lowe, whom he shares with fashion designer Pearl Lowe.
Daisy announced the birth of her second child in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 6.

The first picture is black and white and shows Daisy, her partner Jordan Saul, and their two children. In the caption, she shared her thoughts, writing, “And then our 3 became a 4. Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy Eddie Red. Eternally grateful to the incredible @nhsengland & @strongdoula for all the support and care birthing our baby boy safely… My hero @jordanjaysaul you are the greatest birthing partner, team mate & daddy.”
Lowe also shared two more photos from her birthing experience, showing Saul holding her from behind, and a picture of her in a pool of water in preparation for a water birth. The comment section has been flooded with replies, including one from Daisy’s mom, Pearl, who wrote, “He is the cutest! So proud of you!”
Musician Paloma Faith wrote, “Wow! Congratulations and here’s to keeping it in leopard.”

Daisy Lowe’s Relationship with Biological Dad Gavin Rossdale
In late July, Daisy had shared several photos of her baby bump as the family prepared to meet their newborn. “Baby baby baby. We are getting ready for you,” she captioned the post. “I thought it was a great idea to throw a little garden party in the heat wave with many many sugar biscuits & lots of loved ones.”
Daisy only discovered Rossdale was her father in 2004, through DNA testing. Prior to this, she had believed he was her godfather. “It was a really weird time in my life. I stopped going out, and just sort of hid from it a lot. The press – they were absolutely horrible,” she told W magazine in 2006, People reports. At the time, she still thought of her mom’s husband, Danny Goffey, as her dad. She added, “I definitely don’t call Gwen [Stefani, Rossdale’s wife] ‘Stepmum.’”
In a 2015 interview with The Guardian, Daisy reflected on learning that Rossdale was her father and the challenges it posed. “I was so happy the day I found out Gavin [Rossdale] was my dad. I’d always looked up to him. But it was still a (expletive) show trying to get over it,” she said. “There’s no handbook. As a 15-year-old you have to pull yourself together anyway.”
Rossdale and Stefani married in September 2002, and their divorce was finalized in 2016. The “Hollaback Girl” singer later went on to find love and marry country musician Blake Shelton, after meeting on “The Voice.”
