NDTV reported on April 12 that music legend Bhosle died Sunday in Mumbai after suffering multiple organ failure, according to her physician at Breach Candy Hospital.
Her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, shared that the singer had been admitted a day earlier with a chest infection. Soon after the news broke, Nick Jonas’ wife, Priyanka, took to Instagram to reflect on the singer’s lasting presence in Indian life and culture.
