Hulk Hogan’s Netflix Documentary Details: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Hulk Hogan left one final gift for his fans before his passing. Netflix is about to deliver it.

Hogan sat down for his very last interview before passing away on July 24, 2025 at age 71. Now Netflix is giving fans everything they need to know ahead of the April 22 premiere of “Hulk Hogan: Real American,” a four-part docuseries that goes deeper than any Hogan story told before.

Netflix put it simply in its official announcement: “Before he was Hulk Hogan, he was Terry Bollea. Uncover the man behind the legend.”

1. The Documentary Features Hulk Hogan’s Very Last Interview

Netflix filmed the docuseries before Hogan’s passing, capturing what the streamer calls his final recorded interview. In the trailer Hogan speaks directly to fans about his legacy. “In wrestling, you should be remembered from all the wars you had and everything you’ve done,” he says. “Some people hate me, but I think people are going to know the truth. Who was this guy, really?”

He does not hold back. “I know where all the bodies are buried,” Hogan says in the trailer, a promise that the series goes well beyond highlight reels.
