“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown grew up on the set, so it’s no surprise that her castmates have become like family. The actress even asked one Netflix star to be the godfather to her baby girl.
Millie Bobby Brown Asked ‘Stranger Things’ Costar to Be Her Daughter’s Godfather
Brown, 21, recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, via adoption.
While the couple keeps their private life out of the public eye, and revealed they have no plans to share their daughter’s name, she spilled one major detail: Her baby’s godfather.
“Noah is the godfather,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the season 5 premiere of “Stranger Things” on Thursday, November 6.
She was, of course, referring to costar Noah Schnapp.
“Sadie is very maternal,” Millie added of costar Sadie Sink. “I trust all of them to be honest. They all turn into the most gooey soft versions of themselves when their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”
Schnapp, also 21, explained that the cast — which also includes Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe Keery and Gavin Matarazzo — are his “family.”
“I grew up with these people. It goes so far beyond the work—and I mean that genuinely. We’ll keep these friendships for life,” he told E! News that same night.
Millie Bobby Brown Gushes About Her Baby Girl
Brown opened up to British Vogue about becoming a mother and her and Bongiovi’s intentions on keeping their daughter’s identity private.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she told the outlet during an interview for their December issue.
The “Enola Holmes” actress continued, “If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little—as her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
Brown first revealed the exciting news of their baby girl’s arrival via Instagram in August.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram announcement. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
“The smaller things in life are so much more precious,” she told British Vogue. “Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”
