Annie Guthrie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, have been sighted for the first time since the disappearance of the beloved Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing three days ago on Feb. 1.
In photos obtained by Page Six, the couple was seen keeping a low profile on Tuesday, Feb. 3, as they were leaving their home in Tucson, Ariz. Annie wore a pink sweatshirt with the hood up, while her husband, who was driving, wore a pair of sunglasses. Neither of them looked toward the camera as the photos were being taken.
Nancy Guthrie & Tomasso Ciono Keep a Low Profile in First Sighting
In a shocking turn of events revealed, Tommaso is reportedly being looked into by authorities in the investigation of Nancy’s disappearance, TMZ reports. According to Ashleigh Banfield, a former NewsNation reporter who now works as an independent journalist, Tommaso might be a “prime suspect.”
During Banfield’s “Drop Dead Serious” podcast on Feb. 3, she shared that police seized Annie’s vehicle in connection to her husband, who was the last person to see Nancy when he dropped her off at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31, after she visited with her daughter Annie.
Banfield reported that she was given the relevant information about Tommaso’s possible involvement from a “law enforcement source.” The reporter also made note that families are usually investigated in cases such as this, adding that there has not been public “evidence” to prove Tommaso abducted Nancy from her home or harmed her.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos Shares Statement About Suspects
On Feb. 3, FBI agents and local sheriffs from Pima County were photographed leaving Annie and Tommaso’s home after a two-hour meeting, Page Six reported. Savannah Guthrie was also presumed to have been present at the meeting.
Despite Banfield’s report about Savannah’s brother-in-law being looked into, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who is heading the investigation, shared in an Instagram statement on Feb. 4, saying that authorities have not identified a key suspect in the case.
“At this point, investigators have not identified a suspect or person of interest in this case. Detectives continue to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Mrs. Guthrie,” Nanos said. “Detectives are working closely with the Guthrie family.”
Nanos then reiterated his statement on there not being a key suspect, saying, “No suspect or person of interest has been identified at this time.”

Very bad that investigators even brought up the son in laws name. Shame on law enforcement. They just need to look like they are working on the case. Horrible for the family.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE to make a news article makes this look worse.
