Charles Melton is officially a dad!
The “Riverdale” alum, 35, revealed on Monday, March 9, that he and his girlfriend, Camille Summers-Valli recently welcomed their first child together.

Melton shared the news on Instagram with a heartfelt caption simply reading, “Our family.”
Alongside the announcement, the actor posted a series of intimate photos documenting the couple’s journey into parenthood.
One image showed Melton affectionately kissing Summers-Valli on the cheek as she cradled their newborn.
Another sweet snapshot featured the actor lying on the floor beside the baby, while additional photos highlighted Summers-Valli’s pregnancy, including images of her proudly showing off her baby bump.
The carousel also included a candid moment with Melton’s beloved husky and a shirtless photo of the actor holding his newborn, giving fans a rare glimpse into the couple’s private life.

Summers-Valli Revealed She Was Expecting in January
The baby news comes just a few months after Summers-Valli first announced she was expecting.
In January, she shared a series of personal photos on Instagram revealing her pregnancy.
One touching image showed Melton leaning in to kiss her growing baby bump, while another captured him sitting on the floor of what appeared to be a doctor’s office.
Summers-Valli kept the caption simple but meaningful, writing, “Making a lil family.”
While the couple has been together for some time, they have largely kept their relationship out of the public spotlight.
Both Melton and Summers-Valli rarely share details about their personal lives, opting instead to focus on their creative work.
Melton previously opened up about his desire to maintain privacy when it comes to his relationships.
In a 2019 interview with Hunger magazine, the actor explained that he tries to avoid the noise of social media commentary.
“People need to mind their own business, honestly,” he said at the time.
Melton added that he intentionally avoids reading online comments because public opinions about relationships can often be intrusive.
“Not everyone is going to be a supporter or a fan of your relationship,” he continued. “People need to remember that opinions aren’t facts.”
