5 Actors Who Could Be the Next Hallmark King — Who Would You Choose?

Hallmark fans will be able to tell you that there are plenty of talented actors on the channel that regularly bring viewers stories filled with swoon-worthy charm, captivating chemistry and lots of romance.

At the same time, there are quite a few other actors who are making their names in the world of onscreen love stories that could end up earning their own crown as the next Hallmark king. But who would you choose?

When you pop on a Hallmark movie, you might see actors such as Jesse Metcalfe and Marcus Rosner, as well as Daniel Lissing on the screen. That’s not to overlook Peter Porte, Luke Macfarlane, Brennan Elliott, Victor Webster and Jonathan Bennett, among others. Granted, there are other actors who stand out as the channel’s most prolific stars.

“Hallmark has a slew of leading men, but in 2025, Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell cemented themselves as the kings of the network,” according to Us Weekly.

When it comes to Walker, he’s appeared in over 30 Hallmark movies, including “For Love & Honey” (2024), “Adventures in Love & Birding” (2025) and “Kentucky Roses” (2026). Frankly, Walker is such a beloved staple of the channel, that Us Weekly deemed him “a Hallmark legend.”

Campbell has earned his elite status thanks to his starring roles in Hallmark movies like “Falling Together” (2024), “Christmas at the Catnip Café” (2025), “All’s Fair in Love & Mahjong” (2026), not to mention “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (2022) and “Three Wiser Men and a Boy” (2024) alongside both Hynes and Walker.

“Hynes is the newbie of the bunch, making his debut in 2018’s Falling for You,” Us Weekly notes, while adding that “he’s quickly made up for the missing years by starring in more than 20 films for Hallmark between 2018 and 2025.” That includes movies like “A Picture of Her” (2023) and “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” (2024), as well as “Christmas Above the Clouds” (2025) and “I’ll Be Seeing You” (2026), just to name a few.

While fans are surely excited to see these three stars in even more Hallmark movies, there are a few other actors who could be among the channel’s next kings.

Although fans certainly don’t want to see the current kings of Hallmark leave the channel anytime soon, there is always room for additional actors to join the channel in order to bring viewers even more romantic stories.

That’s why one Reddit user shared a (now-deleted) post proposing Gregg Sulkin as the next Hallmark king.

But who exactly is Sulkin, why is he an ideal choice for a new Hallmark star, and what other actors would also suit the channel’s stories? Keep reading to find out!

1. Gregg Sulkin

What You Can See Him In: Along with appearing on “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Pretty Little Liars,” Sulkin has also popped up in teen romances “A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish” (2019) and “This Is the Year” (2020), which means that he already has experience helping to tell a screen-worthy love story.

And he’s not the only one!

    2. Regé-Jean Page

What You Can See Him In: Fans fell in love with Regé-Jean Page during the first season of “Bridgerton,” and more recently watched him in the romantic comedy “You, Me & Tuscany.”

    3. Corey Mylchreest

What You Can See Him In: Mylchreest is another “Bridgerton” alum, but wasn’t seen in the main series. Instead, he starred as King George in 2023’s “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”

    4. Charles Melton

What You Can See Him In: While you might have seen Melton on “Riverdale,” you’ll definitely want to check him out in the 2019 romantic movie, “The Sun Is Also a Star.”

    5. Nicholas Galitzine

What You Can See Him In: If you’re a fan of Anne Hathaway’s movies, then you likely saw Galitzine as her love interest in “The Idea of You.” He’s also starred in other romantic stories like “Purple Hearts” and “Red, White & Royal Blue.”
