Where to Watch the 2026 Golden Globe Awards Tonight

The 2026 Golden Globe Awards are here, bringing one of the biggest nights of the awards season to television screens on Sunday. With major film and TV titles earning multiple nominations — and a long list of A-listers expected to attend — the ceremony is set to deliver red carpet fashion, headline-making speeches, and plenty of social media buzz.

Among the most-nominated films this year are Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” which leads with nine nominations, Joachim Trier’s “Sentimental Value” with eight, and Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” with seven. On the television side, “The White Lotus” earned six nominations for its third season, while Netflix’s breakout limited series “Adolescence” secured five.

Stars expected to be part of the night include Emma Stone, Michael B. Jordan, Selena Gomez, Cynthia Erivo, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Jennifer Lawrence, Tramell Tillman, Jenna Ortega, Walton Goggins, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Timothée Chalamet.

Here’s everything Entertainment Now readers need to know about watching the Golden Globes and following along live.

Where to Watch the 2026 Golden Globes Live and Stream Online

The Golden Globes begin at 8 p.m. ET and air live on CBS. Viewers who want to stream the ceremony can watch on Paramount+, which carries the live broadcast.

For viewers who want to watch arrivals and interviews before the main event, the Golden Globes red carpet coverage begins earlier in the evening.

The red carpet kicks off at 6 p.m. ET, with the official broadcast from Variety beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. Variety’s coverage will stream on the outlet’s YouTube channel and can also be found on Fire TV devices.

In addition, E! will offer its own live red carpet pre-show. “LIVE from E!: Golden Globes 2026” airs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET on the E! Network and will also stream on Peacock.

Golden Globes 2026 Host & Favorites to Win

Comedian Nikki Glaser returns as host for the 2026 ceremony after drawing strong reviews for her performance last year. The hosting gig aligns with Glaser’s stand-up style and quick delivery, which often plays well in a live awards-show setting.

While Sunday night’s winners will ultimately be decided inside the room, several films and series enter as clear contenders based on recent awards-season momentum.

“Sinners,” which earned four prizes at the Critics’ Choice Awards, heads into the Golden Globes as a favorite in the best drama motion picture category. The film faces competition in the category from “Sentimental Value,” “Hamnet,” and “Frankenstein.”

“One Battle After Another” also arrives with major momentum following a standout showing at the Critics’ Choice Awards, where it won best picture and best director. The film is expected to remain a major presence Sunday night, including in the best motion picture (comedy/musical) category.

On the TV side, “The Pitt” enters the best television series drama discussion as a top contender after taking home five Emmy Awards in 2025 for its first season. That category also includes awards favorites “Severance” and “The White Lotus,” along with Vince Gilligan’s new series “Pluribus.”

In the limited series, “Adolescence” is considered a frontrunner following its Emmy success last fall, including a headline-making moment when Owen Cooper became the youngest male actor to win an Emmy at 15 years old. The series will compete with titles including “Black Mirror” and “Dying for Sex.”

Comedy is also stacked this year, with nominees including “Hacks,” “The Bear,” “Abbott Elementary,” and “Only Murders in the Building.” “The Studio” enters as a likely winner after strong results at the Emmys.
