“Big Brother 28” houseguest Mallory is opening up about the mistakes, alliances and betrayals that contributed to the end of her game.
Following her Week 7 eviction, Mallory joined RHAP’s Taran Armstrong for an exit interview about her experience in the house. She addressed everything from her crucial Head of Household loss to Drew and Barrett’s relationships with the veteran players.
Mallory also reflected on the support she received after leaving the game, ending an emotional week on a positive note.
Mallory Explains What Happened During the HOH Competition
One question surrounding Mallory’s game was whether she intentionally lost the HOH competition that could have changed the trajectory of her week.
Mallory told Armstrong that strategy was not behind the loss. Instead, she panicked under the pressure of the competition.
She also admitted that she did not have a clear nomination plan had she won. The loss ultimately left her vulnerable during a week when relationships throughout the house were becoming increasingly complicated.
Armstrong also revealed information Mallory did not fully know while playing, particularly involving Drew and Barrett. He explained that the two had repeatedly passed information to the veteran players throughout the season, including details about alliances.
Mallory said that behavior contributed to her distrust of them.

Mallory was particularly critical of the idea of playing primarily to benefit the veterans.
She argued that houseguests who become too committed to helping more established players reach the end could damage their own chances of winning. In her view, reaching the finale would mean little if jurors believed someone spent the season advancing another player’s game.
Armstrong and Mallory also discussed Rick Devens’ strong social relationships. Mallory described a dynamic in which Devens made individual players feel valued, helping him maintain connections across the house.
The interview also shed additional light on Dee Valladares’ deal with Yash.
Armstrong explained that Dee’s bribe secured safety not only for herself but also for Devens and Angela. The arrangement could have significant consequences for the remaining houseguests as they determine their next targets.
Mallory Reflects on Her ‘Big Brother’ Experience
Despite the disappointment surrounding her eviction, Mallory left the game with plenty of memorable moments.
Armstrong brought up her “Pipe Queen” nickname, which became part of her identity during the season. Mallory also spoke about the passion she brought to the experience as a longtime “Big Brother” fan.
Her eviction became particularly emotional after Drew voted against her, adding another layer to the complicated relationships that developed during her final days in the house.
However, leaving also brought an unexpected bright spot.
Mallory learned that former “Big Brother” players she admired had been supporting her journey. Receiving encouragement from alumni and fans made her exit bittersweet and gave her an opportunity to appreciate what she accomplished even after her game ended.
