Iconic ‘Jane the Virgin’ House Selling for $2.9 Million in Los Angeles

The beautiful Spanish style home used as the Villanueva family abode in “Jane the Virgin” has hit the market in Los Angeles.

Despite being depicted as Miami, Florida, in the beloved CW series, the home is located between the Larchmont and Hollywood neighborhoods of L.A.

‘Jane the Virgin’ House

“Jane the Virgin” fans can enter a dream sequence of their own, similar to Gina Rodriguez’s character, Jane Gloriana Villanueva, as they step into the four-bedroom, three-bathroom Spanish-style home.

The show, which ran for five seasons, starred Rodriguez alongside Andrea Navedo, who played her mom, Xiomara Villanueva, and Ivonne Coll, who portrayed Jane’s grandmother, Alba Villanueva. The three generations of Villaneueva women resided in the humble “Miami” home.

The series also starred Justin Baldoni as Rafael Solano, Yael Grobglas as Petra Solano, Brett Dier as Michael Cordero, and Jaime Camil as Rogelio de la Vega.

According to Realtor.com, the home “sits just one block from the storied Paramount Studios lot.”

Previously sold in October 2025 for $1.76 million, the 2,360-square-foot home has undergone a total renovation in the months since the sale.

“That remodel not only added a much more modern feel to the dwelling, but also carefully preserved its original 1920s charm, which helped to add a truly authentic touch to the house when it featured as the Villanueva family home,” Realtor.com explained.

Inside the ‘Jane the Virgin’ Home

The property listing describes the home as having “a number of communal living spaces,” “enormous windows,” and “French doors that open up to the quaint garden outside.”

The Spanish charm is evident in the exterior of the home, including the thoughtfully designed garden and multiple outdoor entertaining areas

“Outside, the home is designed for ideal SoCal indoor-outdoor living, featuring a private European-style courtyard, olive trees, and lush hedging,” a press release for the property read, per Realtor.com. “The property is also within walking distance to Paramount Studios and Larchmont Village’s popular cafés, restaurants, and retail boutiques, and in close proximity to Wilshire Country Club and other media hubs like Netflix.”

Kevin Hafezi, the agent who holds the sought after listing, added, “While it has been fully remodeled to meet modern standards, it thoughtfully preserves the character and charm that define 1920s architecture.”

Gina Rodriguez Left Los Angeles

Rodriguez, the star of the sitcom, announced in 2023 that she and husband Joe LoCicero — whom she met on the set of “Jane” — relocated their family to Oregon.

“It is still terrifying. Every time we go [to Oregon], I’m like, ‘I’m just a phone call away. It’s very close to LA,'” she told Glamour at the time.

The “Not Dead Yet” star, who was pregnant with her first child at the time, added, “I’m definitely going to have the baby here in L.A., but I’m hoping we’re able to get up there sooner rather than later because to be in nature…it’s so healing and the air is so clean. There’s just something about seeing the deer and the wild turkeys and the elk. It’s a different existence. Growing up in Chicago and then going to school in New York, it was almost a culture shock. But it’s been a dream. It’s been a really healing place for me and my husband.”
