Justin Baldoni‘s gorgeous wife, 41-year-old Emily Baldoni, was back at his side for Day 2 as he prepared to enter the United States District Court in New York City for a court date regarding his case against Jonesworks PR head Stephanie Jones. The court appearance comes the day after a court-ordered mediation regarding Blake Lively’s complaints about the 2024 film “It Ends With Us.” The former costars failed to come to an agreement, Variety says Justin’s attorney Bryan Freedman told reporters.
GettyThe outlet quoted Freedman as saying “We’re looking forward to it” about the trial, which is scheduled to begin May 18, 2026. On January 24, Baldoni celebrated his birthday and received an outpouring of love from fans and friends.

Brolin reflected on directing Justin in the 2011 short film “Royal Reunion.” The “No Country for Old Men” star said of Justin, “He asked so many questions, he was so helpful. But I didn’t realize he was learning, because very soon after that, this guy’s directing his own stuff.”
Baldoni has notably directed two A-list former Disney Channel stars in teen drama films: Cole Sprouse in 2019’s “Five Feet Apart,” and Sabrina Carpenter in 2020’s “Clouds.” He purchased the rights to Colleen Hoover’s novel “It Ends With Us” in 2019 through his production company, Wayfarer Studios. The book subsequently went mega-viral on TikTok in 2021, leading to feverish anticipation for the film.
Brolin’s comments on Baldoni continued, “I’m so proud of Justin Baldoni because God, he’s written two wonderful books on being a man and being courteous and teaching boys not to fear their fears – and now he’s directed three movies. He started off with one episode of “Jane the Virgin” and now he’s directed three pictures and written two books and does TED talks to help people.”
Brolin kept his comments on Baldoni’s legal battle with Blake Lively short, saying, “I don’t understand what’s going on right now, but I hope it works out.”
