Justin Baldoni turned 42 on on January 24, 2026. His father, Sam Baldoni, marked the occasion by sharing a loving and emotional message of support for his son.
First, Justin’s father reminisced on what it was like when the entertainer made his entrance into the world. Sam wrote, “Happy birthday, Justin Louis Baldoni! Being a new dad I had no idea what to expect when Justin was born. His birth (our first) was not easy. Sharon spent 34+ hours in labor and we ended up cesarean. As a result, I got to hold him first and was able to put his little face against his mom’s cheek.”
Sam called the life-changing moment “a spiritual, very exhilarating close to God kind of experience,” before going on, “This little guy filled our home with such joy all those years ago and to this day his presence lights up not only our lives but all those around him. I am so proud of my son for the man he has become and how he never stops learning about life, about love, about family and friendship, and about how to show up for the people he cares about most.”

Justin’s dad then proudly spoke about what watching him be a husband and father. He said, “I envy his continual dedication to his family and his love and admiration for his truly perfect partner Emily.” Sam called 41-year-old Emily, whom Justin married in 2013, his “dearly loved daughter-in-love.”
In the final part of his birthday message to Justin, Sam seemed to hint at Blake Lively’s lawsuit against his son in which she is seeking over $160 million in damages related to their disagreements over the film “It Ends With Us” based on the Colleen Hoover novel which Justin purchased the rights to in 2019.
“Son, in a year full of turmoil and injustice, you have remained steadfast in your faith knowing the truth and justice will prevail! Happy Birthday Son, I love you with all my heart and soul!”

The film’s popularity was largely thanks to the novel’s viral status on TikTok when it blew up on the app in 2021. Two years before that, Justin’s Wayfarer Studios approached author Colleen Hoover for the rights to the novel, which she wrote in 2016, and she ultimately agreed.
