Julia Has Shared Her Love for Daniel Over the Years
GettyRoberts first met Moder, who’s a cinematographer, on the set of “The Mexican” in 2000. They were married on July 4, 2002, and went on to have three children together, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus (born in 2004) and son Henry (born in 2007).
In October 2022, Roberts sat down for a chat with anchor Jane Pauley during an interview for “CBS Sunday Morning” (via CBS News). The star took the time to discuss both her personal and professional life.
“It just never consumed me, being an actor,” Roberts said. “It is my dream come true. But it is not my only dream come true.”
Pauly then asked, “What are the other dreams?”
“The life that I’ve built with my husband,” Roberts answered. “The life that we’ve built with our children. And that’s the best stuff. … The point is to come home at the end of the day triumphantly to them.”
The actress also opened up about writing letters to her family back home while she’s working.
In response, Pauley pointed out, “You probably could have sent emails pretty quickly.”
Roberts explained, “Yeah, but that’s kind of boring — and they don’t get the cool stamps. It’s something that Danny and I have always done. I mean, I have the first letter he ever wrote me. … And one day, I’ll show it to Hazel and say, ‘That’s what you’re looking for.'”
