Miracle Mineral Supplement, or MMS, is a chemical solution that is promoted as a cure for HIV, malaria, hepatitis viruses, the flu virus, and much more. In 2009, a man named Doug Nash experienced a terrible loss when his wife, Sylvia, died in his arms. To this day, Nash adamantly believes that the MMS mixture his wife took hours before dying led to her death.
1. The US Government and Medical Experts Say MMS Is Very Close to Bleach

In 2010, the FDA warned consumers of the potential harm MMS can do. They reported that when used as directed, the product “produces an industrial bleach that can cause serious harm to health.” The product directs consumers to mix the 28% sodium chlorite solution with an acid like citrus juice. The result is a mixture called chloride dioxide, which the FDA describes as “a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial water treatment.”
Ben Mizer of the US Department of Justice tells ABC News, “You wouldn’t drink Clorox, so there is no reason you should drink MMS.”
2. Jim Humble Is the Man Who Discovered MMS

According to the MMS website, Jim Humble is the man responsible for discovering MMS and bringing into the mainstream.
The site states that while Humble was traversing the jungles of South America, one of his colleagues was infected with a deadly form of malaria. “… in a last ditched attempt to bring about some relief was for Jim to treat the individual with some of his own water purification drops (a weak solution of sodium chlorite solution) that Jim had been using for years whilst on expedition to make questionable water potable. To everyone’s amazement, the stricken man was sitting about laughing about the deadly experience just hours before!”
The site claims that Jim treated over 2,000 people himself with the mixture, and over 75,000 people “via his missionaries he personally trained.”
Humble reportedly began his career in the aerospace industry, as a research engineer. MMS-Supplement.com reads, “Although he speaks of this rarely, Jim worked on lunar vehicles, worked on the first intercontinental missiles, set up experiments for atomic bombs, wrote instruction manuals for th first vacuum tune computers…”
According to The Guardian, blogger Noodlemaz transcribed a blog by Humble, and he reportedly says, “I developed a technique for healing by touch… What was it that Jesus Christ did first of all, always? He healed the sick. That is what we will be doing but there is a lot more to it than that…”

According to ABC News, the church responsible for administering the MMS says there is no way it could have caused Sylvia’s death. In fact, they still believe that the Miracle Mineral Solution can “be used to overcome most diseases known to mankind”.
4. A Federal Judge Found a Man Guilty for Selling MMS Last Year

The effects of MMS are highly disputed today. Last year, Louis Daniel Smith, 45, of Spokane, Washington, was found guilty of “introducing misbranded drugs with intent to defraud or mislead” by selling MMS as a cure for various disease. He was convicted of conspiracy, smuggling, selling misbranded drugs and defrauding.
In November, he was sentenced to 51 months in prison. The Department of Justice article reads, “According to the evidence presented at trial, Smith created phony ‘water purification’ and ‘wastewater treatment’ businesses in order to obtain sodium chlorite and ship his MMS without being detected by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The government also presented evidence that Smith hid evidence from FDA inspectors and destroyed evidence while law enforcement agents were executing search warrants on his residence and business.”
5. It Was Banned in Canada

According to The Guardian, MMS was banned in Canada after “causing a life-threatening reaction.”
The advisory reads,
Health Canada is warning Canadians of the serious risks to health associated with use of the unauthorized drug product Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS), which was sold as a treatment for serious diseases such as cancer through the website www.buymms.biz. MMS contains sodium chlorite, which is a chemical used mainly as a textile bleaching agent and disinfectant and may pose serious risks to health if ingested. An alternate format of MMS, labelled as CDS, is also available for sale on the website and would pose a similar risk.

Article was a nice hit piece on MMS by the Pharma no doubt. When they start calling it “Bleach” (which is completely different than MMS) or citing the one and only case of harm that “may have been caused by MMS” from a woman who died alone with her husband on a yacht ( who prob. killed her). The irony that they call it deadly but then state it is for treating drinking water. They use it to treat drinking water because its so effective. What do you do with drinking water? yeah ya drink it.
