The news of Redford’s passing was announced on Tuesday, September 16. He was 89. In the caption, Wagner wrote: “I’ve lost a lifelong friend with the passing of Robert Redford. Our families shared many memories together over the years, and I will always treasure his kindness, wisdom, and friendship. Bob was a true original — both on screen and off. My heart is with his loved ones during this time.”
