Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund were reportedly getting serious before their relationship came to an abrupt and very public end after the Stagecoach Music Festival. The influencer and the Bravo star, who went public with their romance in late 2025, had been talking about their future together before cheating allegations quickly shifted everything.
Steven McBee Jr. & Allie Eklund Were Planning a Future Together
A source told Us Weekly that McBee and Eklund had been dating for about seven months and had discussed taking the next step.
“They had only been dating for about seven months but did talk about getting engaged this year,” the source said. “It was heading in that direction and they were very serious.”
The couple reportedly met in 2025 through a mutual friend and quickly became inseparable.
“[They] rarely spent time apart splitting their time between Texas and Missouri,” the insider explained, adding that they had a rule about not being apart for more than a few days.
The relationship is expected to be featured on season 3 of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.”
The source said the couple appeared to be in a good place during their time at Stagecoach.
“Things were good between them and they were having a lot of fun together at Stagecoach before he left the festival on the final day,” the insider added. “They seemed to be in great spirits and looked very in love.”
Stagecoach Allegations Lead to Public Fallout and Statements
The situation changed after McBee left the festival early and later alleged he received messages and a video showing Eklund with another man.
“I just know there was hand holding, grinding, dancing, drunken stupor at an afterparty,” McBee claimed on Instagram.
In another post, he wrote, “One person at the gym on a Monday… The other drunk and cheating at an afterparty.”
Eklund denied the allegations in a statement shared on social media.
“This is really sad to see, and I’m genuinely at a loss for words,” she said. “Posting everything online before we talked is extremely disheartening and extremely unfair, considering I’ve protected Steven many times during the course of our relationship.”
McBee later addressed his reaction, acknowledging his response in the moment.
“Will say this — without a doubt crashed out after this text was sent to her and her manager and said regrettable things — and I should’ve done better at that moment and I do apologize for that,” he wrote.
He added, “But after ignoring my calls and only getting a ‘I’m still at this party’ response… I had to crash out.”
Drew Dodson, who was mentioned in connection to the situation, also responded publicly.
“I was at Stagecoach with a big group of friends, including someone I’ve known for years,” Dodson said via his Instagram stories. “The reality is simple… I was there with friends, nothing more.”
Eklund indicated she does not plan to continue addressing the situation publicly.
“This situation is painful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone,” she said on her Instagram stories. “I’d like this to end here. I’ve said what feels necessary in response to his actions and I plan on taking time to process and move forward.”
