Bravo knows when they have good TV, and the network was quick to pick up cameras again when “Summer House” stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula shocked the fandom with their romance.
But don’t expect to see the footage tacked onto the end of “Summer House” this season. Instead, it will appear on the series premiere of its spinoff, “In the City.”
“In the City” was filmed immediately after Season 10 of “Summer House,” following a number of the show’s cast back to New York City in the fall of 2025. It will highlight the end of Kyle Cooke and Batula’s marriage, before the pair announced their split in January 2026.
Batula and Wilson, meanwhile, announced their new relationship in March 2026, after filming wrapped on the spinoff.
Cameras Picked Back Up on ‘In the City’
In an interview with The Ankler, Bravo exec Frances Berwick confirmed “In the City” went back into production after the Batula-Wilson romance was revealed.
“You’ll see in the first episode, we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members,” Frances told the outlet. “So, we did pick up [cameras] there, but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on ‘Summer House.'”
Why not?
“It does come back to the emotional well-being of the cast members, and we didn’t think that was right. We did take a beat before we covered that,” Berwick explained. “And that was obviously in the reunion last week; as everyone now knows, we taped the reunion last week.”

BravoThe series was filmed in Fall 2025 and stars Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Ferzil, Whitney Fransway, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, and Katie Arundel.
Per a Bravo press release, the show will follow them “as they navigate the biggest transitions of their lives at the time – marriage, separation, parenthood, reinvention and the reality of growing up without growing apart.”
The series will appear to show the end of Amanda and Kyle’s marriage, as it began filming before the pair announced their separation.
A trailer for the series begins with footage from Kyle and Amanda’s wedding, as they share their vows. Then text reading “Not every love story ends in happily ever after” is shown on screen, before Andy Cohen is heard announcing the “bombshell” news of the couple’s split.
Later in the trailer, the exes are seen arguing, with Amanda asking him, “Who was in our apartment last night, while I’m asleep?” The two are seen in another heated moment as she tells Kyle, “We don’t have a prenup, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you.”
“That would be a losing battle,” he tells her.
The press release adds that Amanda is “focusing on finding balance between her personal life and professional ambitions while the demise of her marriage is front and center,” while Cooke is “scrambling” to “keep his businesses afloat.”
The video also shows Amanda hugging West Wilson and calling him “cutie,” this after the pair recently confirmed they’re now dating.
“In the City” premieres Tuesday, May 19 at 9pm, following the “Summer House” Season 10 finale.
