Amanda Batula & West Wilson Reveal Shakes Up ‘Summer House’ Spinoff Plans

“Summer House” is expanding with a new spinoff as the show airs season 10 on Bravo. The upcoming series, “In the City,” remains in development, although recent bombshells involving Amanda Batula and West Wilson have brought new attention to the cast and production plans.

‘In the City’ Spinoff Brings ‘Summer House’ Cast to New York City

Bravo first announced “In the City” in September 2025 as a spinoff of “Summer House.” The is supposed to follow Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, and Batula as they shift their lives from the Hamptons to New York City.

The official logline for the show explains, “In the city that never sleeps, a group of New Yorkers navigates the biggest transitions of their lives – marriage, parenthood, reinvention and the reality of growing up without growing apart. Can they have it all, or will they need to choose between the lives they’ve built and the futures they never saw coming?”

Cooke spoke about the series during a January 2026 panel at 92NY and explained how the group dynamic compares to the early days of “Summer House.”

“What’s kind of funny is ‘In the City’ is with friends that we’ve had for 10-plus years, but never really came on ‘Summer House,” Cooke said, via People. “You think about how Summer House started, it was all an existing group of friends. Same thing with In the City.”

The show is being produced by Truly Original, the same company behind “Summer House” and other Bravo series.

Amanda Batula & West Wilson Confirm Relationship After Speculation

Batula and Cooke were a central couple on “Summer House” since the show premiered in 2017. They got married in September 2021 and announced their split in January 2026 after four years of marriage.

In March 2026, Batula confirmed she is now dating her co-star Wilson. The pair addressed the speculation directly in a joint statement shared on Instagram Stories on March 31.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

Production Updates Emerge for ‘Summer House’ & ‘In the City’

As the cast navigates these changes, production on both “Summer House” and “In the City” appears to be ongoing.

Bravo & Cocktails shared a tip on March 31 that read, “Ciara Kyle and Lindsay are set to film a scene in the next few days,” presumably to address the Batula/Wilson news to be added to an upcoming episode of the current season.

Another tip sent to Bravo & Cocktails suggests that the new relationship could affect how both shows move forward.

According to the report, “Amanda and West’s new relationship has completely thrown both ‘Summer House’ and ‘In the City’ into chaos. Producers originally planned for Ciara, West, Jesse, and the newcomers to anchor the next era of ‘Summer House,’ while Kyle, Amanda, and Lindsay would transition over to ‘In the City.’ Kyle and Amanda’s separation wasn’t expected to be a major issue because they could’ve simply split them across the two shows. But now the entire strategy has fallen apart because Amanda and West hooked up. Producers are frustrated, and so is the cast. Everything is up in the air.”

Bravo has not confirmed any production changes. “In the City” remains in development as “Summer House” season 10 continues to air.
