On their shared TikTok account, @de_twin1, Dumebi posted on Thursday, February 19, announcing her sister’s passing. The announcement included the funeral arrangements for Chidubem, which will be held in Nigeria. “The family of Sir Ambrose Agwulonu of Umuogbe Umuanuma Nguru, Aboh Mbaise LGA in Imo State (Nigeria), announces the passing of their beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunty and Niece, whose short but impactful life has left a lasting impression on their hearts,” the post reads.
The post also includes photos of Chidubem. In the caption, Dumebi shared her thoughts with a beautiful and heartbreaking tribute. “The song is ended, but the melody still lingers on,” Dumebi began her message. “To my dearest twin sister, Where do I even begin? It feels impossible to sum up a lifetime of shared moments, laughter, and a bond that only we understood. From the moment we entered this world together, we were inseparable, two halves of a whole.”
Dumebi wrote about how they did everything together and had “a secret language, inside jokes, and a connection that went beyond words. We celebrated milestones, comforted each other through tough times, and always had each other’s backs.”
Dumebi celebrated her sister’s beautiful qualities, including her smile and kindness, and how she would forever cherish their time together and the many memories they shared. She continued, “The world feels a little dimmer without you, but your spirit will continue to shine brightly. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. I love you more than words can say.”
