“She had a pulmonary clot, had 2 seizures, and when she arrived at the hospital, she was no longer alive,” Borges wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I want to thank the countless messages, thank you all who took the time to worry and send messages, if you can pray for the family regardless of religion, I will be extremely grateful!”
TMZ also reported Dias’ passing, noting how she had been recovering at her family’s beach house in Guarujá, near São Paulo. She “began experiencing shortness of breath while recovering” and was rushed to the hospital. Her death occurred 18 days after her surgery, TMZ reports.
