Former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino and her family are celebrating a big moment in her son’s life. Alexis’ eldest son, James Bellino, proposed to his longtime girlfriend in a sweet beach engagement.
The reality star was there to capture the moment James got down on one knee, sharing sweet photos of the heartfelt engagement as family and friends later surprised the couple to celebrate together.

GettyThe Bellino family is celebrating a big moment for James Bellino, 20, who is officially on his way to the altar. On Dec. 19, RHOC alum Alexis Bellino shared the sweet news that her eldest son, with whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Bellino, is happily engaged to his girlfriend.
The reality star shared precious photos from the couple’s beach engagement, which featured beautiful flower arrangements and a romantic path leading to a blanket on the sand, where James got down on one knee to propose. Alexis and James’ girlfriends’ mother also appeared to be on hand to help set up the proposal.
Alexis’ clip also featured the heartwarming moment the newly engaged couple was surprised by the family and friends waiting to celebrate.
In her caption, Alexis detailed that special day, even sharing a few tidbits about her son’s relationship with his new fiancée.
“And just like that my first born is engaged!!!! 12/17/25…These two have been together since they were 15 years old. 5 years later, they’re engaged!!!,” she began.
“James did it all …from making the plan, to finding the location, to directing each of us, to hiring the crew. It was the most beautiful night,” she shared, adding, “I could not have hand picked a better person for my son, nor wished for a better daughter-in-law. Our Brady bunch is forever growing. Welcome to the family sweet girl. We love you so much. What a beautiful Christmas gift. 💍🙌🏻♥️🥰”
Bellino Recently Celebrated Her Twins’ Milestone Birthday
It was also a big year for Alexis and Jim’s twins, Miles and Kenna, who turned 18 in November. Taking to Instagram, Alexis shared a video of her family having a sweet party for her twins that included fun balloons, two cakes, and a caricature artist.
Alexis captioned her post, “Happy 18th birthday to my EXCEPTIONAL twins…I don’t know how it’s possible, but I have all adults now. Miles and Kenna, I love you so much. It’s crazy that God gave me TWO of you at the same time, born one minute apart, yet you are so different, so amazing in your own way, and I’m forever grateful that I have the title of being your “mom.”
All of Alexis’ children were present when she wed John Janssen this October during a stunning, chic ceremony in Laguna Beach, California. Janssen’s three children from his previous marriage were also on hand to celebrate their father’s big day.
Alexis has often referred to her big blended family as “the Brady Bunch,” and in an interview with People, she shared how each of the kids played a “meaningful role” in her wedding to Janssen. Both Alexis and Janssen walked down the aisle with their respective children before they read heartwarming vows to their kids and to each other.
Both parents also gifted their children with handcrafted bracelets by designer Valenzuela for their daughters and custom bracelets designed by Kenton Michael Jewelry for their sons.
