The tragic news that Robert Cosby Jr, the son of “Real Housewives of Salt City” star Mary Cosby, had passed away broke on February 25. Following the revelation, several of her RHOSLC costars have offered their condolences. This includes Angie Katsanavas, who is the closest to Cosby on the show.
Katsanavas took to social media to offer her condolences to Cosby. She said, “Thank you for sharing Bubbs with us, my family, and the world. He touched many hearts, and the loss has broken mine.”
The RHOSLC star then said, “I will forever remember his kindness toward Elektra, his handshake and eye contact, and his soft spoken voice, ‘love you, mom.’ I am here for you.. May god bless your family, and may his memory be eternal. I love you, Mary.”
Mary Cosby Has Released A Statement on Robert Jr’s Passing
TMZ broke the news on February 25 that the 23-year-old had passed away on February 23. They stated that the cause of death was not clear, but that local authorities had responded to a possible overdose. Upon reaching the residence, it turned into a death investigation.
Specifically, the outlet learned that police responded to a call on Monday night for a “full arrest/medical emergency” for a 23-year-old male. Fire and paramedics were dispatched to the scene following the call for assistance.
The RHOSLC star later released a statement regarding her son’s passing. She said, “Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
