Former “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel turned 55 years old on Tuesday, November 4, and is apparently celebrating that fact by spending some time in the sun. Beyond that, she’s took to Instagram on Friday, November 14, to share a few shots of herself in a sleek bikini.
In the first couple of photos, Bethenny can be seen wearing a brown bikini as well as a straw hat while she hangs out with friends. She also shared a video of herself dancing in the same swimsuit.
In an additional duo of pics, Bethenny wears a wonderfully colorful outfit while standing on a boat in one shot and getting a kiss on the cheek the another. In the last photo, it appears as if Bethenny has received a giant can of personalized cavier for her special day. However, if you look a little closer, it seems as if it’s actually a cavier can-shaped cake!
In the caption of her post, she wrote, “Cheers to the freakin’ weekend/birthday month ☀️🥂”
Bethenny Doesn’t ‘Understand Lying About Your Age’
Bethenny clearly has no problem letting her followers know it’s her birthday month. And while some people don’t want to get older, that doesn’t apply to Bethenny at all.
In fact, in April 2021, she told People, “I don’t really care about being 50.”
She added, “I don’t understand lying about your age because then you look worse for your actual age.”
Bethenny Asked If She’s Aging ‘Wrong’
GettyThe next year, on February 13, 2022, Bethenny took to X to write, “My favorite is people telling me that I’ve aged & that I don’t look how I used to… Ummm yeah, wait…am i doing it wrong? Are we not all aging?”
She continued by writing, “Even if I filter myself & get plastic surgery I assume I’m still getting older not younger right. Or am I bad at math & science? 🤔”
Her message stirred up plenty of responses, with one person writing, “It’s only because you are natural and don’t use a filter for every Insta post. People seem to have forgotten what real people look like, such a shame.”
Another person added, “Geez. I can’t figure out why I don’t look the same at 60 as I did when I was 30. SMH. I’m shocked.”
“People are so used to the filtered and altered photos of celebrities. It’s refreshing when they actually show themselves in their natural states. We’ll all age, and no amount of botox or surgeries will change that. Love yourself and be you!” came from another one of Bethenny’s followers.
Yet another person wrote, “Don’t even give the haters a second of your time. It’s not about your looks it’s more about the ppl who say such things.”
