Jo-Ellen Tiberi revealed she has a lot to share at “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” reunion. The Bravo TV newcomer appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” on May 10 and claimed she has further “proof” that her co-star Rulla Nehme Pontarelli’s husband, Brian, left a group filming event to visit his alleged former mistress.
Speaking with host Andy Cohen, Tiberi teased, “I have spoken to the mistress since the show aired. I have known her for 10 years. …. I guess you’re just going to have to tune into the reunion and find out who has proof.”
After Cohen asked, “Oh, who has proof?” she replied, “I do.”
Jo-Ellen Tiberi Was Trying to Be a Girl’s Girl
Tiberi’s response came after RHORI co-star Kelsey Swanson alleged Brian Pontarelli skipped a group outing to a polo match and went to see his mistress because she was threatening to show up at the event. Pontarelli claimed he went to the hospital to see his mother.
Of her ongoing attempts to warn Rulla of her husband’s actions, Tiberi explained, “You know, initially I think that I was being a girl’s girl. I really, truly felt like that.”
“I was trying, and I truly do care about Rulla as a person,” she added. “I do not care about Brian.”
Tiberi added that she changed her attitude when the couple reportedly contacted her workplace. She noted that “all gloves are off” now, which could explain why she has more proof to share come reunion time.
Jo-Ellen Tiberi Claims She Knows ‘A Lot More’ Than She Has Shared
During an appearance on the RHORI Aftershow, Tiberi revealed that she received information about Pontarelli and his alleged blonde mistress from a longtime friend.
“She’s a sweet girl. She’s friendly with the mistress,” Tiberi said of her friend. “And so, she’s like, ‘Listen, this was wrong of me. I filmed this thing of the mistress and Brian early morning, and him leaving her house.’ So, you know, when Brian’s at the gym, he’s actually at the mistresses, as I told her.”
Tiberi added, “Do I know a lot more than I’ve shared? I know a lot more.”
She also reiterated that she wasn’t playing detective and that the information “just came” to her.
“People talk to me,” she explained. “I turn my phone on, I can show you like the baristas texting me videos of Brian and the mistress getting coffee together. Like, I didn’t even ask for it. It was just like given to me.”
Rulla has said that things are much better in her marriage since the RHORI scenes were filmed last year. During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” in April, she revealed that her husband of nine years confessed his adulterous relationship to her before filming started.
“We’re working on things,” Rulla told Cohen. “To be honest, we’re in a much better place than we were before, Andy. It’s like it was prior to the affair and better.”
She also clarified that she was not angry at Tiberi for coming forward with what she knew. “I was actually very grateful when Jo-Ellen had shown me the photos,” she said. “I have no malice toward her.”
