Season 19 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” has been a unique experience for both the cast and the fans. However, this is perhaps the most true for Katie Ginella as she didn’t appear in multiple episodes of the season. Now, she’s sharing a look at what could have been in a new photo.
Ginella took to Instagram on October 13 to share a picture of herself wearing a beautiful black dress. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star said in the caption, “The almost Tom Ford second confessional look. It deserves a moment. 🖤”
Ginella received a great deal of support in the comments of the post. One person wrote, “You should’ve saved it for season 20 😍.” Someone else said, “Love Tom Ford!! ❤️ Yes, definitely deserves a moment. 🔥”
Another RHOC fan commented, “You’re a beauty, Katie! ❤️” Finally, Ginella’s husband, Matt Ginella, said, “Good Lawd above! 🙌🔥😍”
Ginella Made a Brief Return to ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’
Many RHOC fans have been disappointed in the absence of Ginella in recent “Real Housewives of Orange County” episodes. Of course, her time away from the show came after the tense episode involving the lie detector test.
However, the second season “Housewives” star briefly returned during the most recent episode. This came as she had a sit-down with Tamra Judge to discuss not only Gretchen Rossi, but also a bit about her status with the ladies.
Ginella and Judge teased her return on social media, using the caption, “Fancy seeing you here… 🍊 #RHOC”
She Will be at the Reunion
It’s unclear whether Ginella will be a part of the main season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” moving forward. However, she has confirmed that she will be at the reunion, which the ladies have already filmed.
She said in early September 2025 to US Weekly, “I would love to be at the reunion. They asked me to be at BravoCon, which I’m really excited about. A lot of [my costars] are saying, ‘If Katie comes back, I won’t.’ So I mean, maybe, we should just all read the comments and see who they want to come back.”
Additionally, Bravo has now released the official seating chart for “The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 19. It finds Ginella sitting in the last seat on Andy Cohen’s left, which puts her across from Rossi. With this placement, it’s unclear if fans can expect her to be present for the whole reunion or if she will be treated as a friend of the show.
