While the cast of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” has yet to be announced, one cast member has revealed that she is preparing to film this summer. The network confirmed that the new reality show will be getting a second series earlier this Spring.
Kelsey Swanson told Content Condo Miami that she is getting ready to film the second series of the reality show this summer.
“We film Season 2 in a couple of weeks, actually probably like a month, and that will be my entire summer, until probably the end of the summer,” Swanson said in the new interview. “Until then, I’m just a one track mind and show only.”
Kelsey was in Miami for Miami Swim Week, walking the runway for Cupshe. The swimwear line is currently collaborating for BachelorNation’s Kelsey Anderson.
Andy Cohen has praised the newest franchise in the world of “The Real Housewives”. “I think one of the reasons Rhode Island is so incredible is that the women’s self-awareness about being on the show is incredibly low,” Cohen previously told Deadline. “They are uniquely themselves and taking us along for the ride. That’s so important. There have been a lot of times where a housewife will join and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Oh, man, she’s kind of studied this’. That’s what we try to avoid.”
Who Else Is Returning For Season 2 Of ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’?
While Bravo confirmed the show will return, it released no updates on who will be involved and in what capacity.
Alicia Carmody, Ashley Iaconetti and Jo-Ellen Tiberi told The Providence Journal they are interested in returning to the reality show.
Rosie DiMare was a little more hesitant, telling TV Insider, “I don’t know. We’ll have to see how the first season goes. It was a lot. Filming was a lot. Reliving it in confessionals at the time was a lot. But it was also a lot of fun.”
Before the first season aired, DiMare was “leaning towards yes,” but admitted, “I already know how certain people feel about me. I don’t necessarily need to hear that. So I don’t know if I can even watch the show.”
But not everyone is interested in returning. Rulla Pontarelli told The Providence Journal that she was unsure if she would be returning to the Bravo series, amid marital drama.
What Will Season 2 Of ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ Be About?

Kelsey has high hopes for the upcoming season. The reality star found herself butting heads with castmate Rosie and Liz , but is entering the new season with positivity. “I already did it once, so now the second time, is gonna to be easier. I hope,” she explained. “It probably gets worse. I’m just going to pretend that it’s going to be good. Everything is going to be fine.”
When Will “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” Be Released?
A premiere date for Season 2 has not yet been confirmed by Bravo. Season 1 was filmed during the summer of 2025, with the cast hinting that cameras would pick back up in a couple of months’ time. We’re expecting the next season to air in the Spring of 2027, following the same schedule as Season 1.
