Luann de Lesseps’ children aren’t kids anymore.
When “The Real Housewives of New York City” premiered in 2008, viewers were introduced not only to de Lesseps, but also to her young children, Victoria and Noel. Nearly two decades later, both have carved out lives of their own, largely away from the reality TV spotlight that surrounded their family.
Now, de Lesseps is sharing a rare update on where they are today.
The longtime RHONY star recently caught up with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish” and revealed that Victoria, 31, has been spending time overseas, while Noel, 27, has continued pursuing his career as an artist in New York.
And from the sound of it, their mom couldn’t be happier with where they have landed.
Luann de Lesseps Shares an Update on Victoria and Noel
Victoria has been splitting her time between several countries and recently added acting classes to her résumé.
“Victoria is with the Count right now, and then she went to London to do a class at RADA [The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art],” de Lesseps said.
“The Count” is Alexandre de Lesseps, Luann’s ex-husband and the father of Victoria and Noel.
Victoria then returned to Switzerland, according to her mom, although de Lesseps was looking forward to having her closer to home again.
“And then she’s back in Switzerland, but coming back in August to be with me in the Hamptons, so I’m really happy about that,” she said.
Victoria has long shared her creative side with followers and works as a visual artist and designer. But she isn’t the only artist in the family.
Noel has also built a career around his artwork, and these days, he is based in Brooklyn.
As de Lesseps put it, Noel is “an artist living in Brooklyn” who is “doing really well” as a painter.
“I’m actually gonna see him this weekend. He’s coming out for an art show,” she added.
Noel regularly showcases his work on social media, and his paintings have previously been displayed in galleries in New York City and Martha’s Vineyard.
Luann de Lesseps Says ‘The Kids Are Great’
For longtime RHONY viewers, the update is a striking reminder of just how much time has passed since the franchise began.
Victoria and Noel were still children when cameras first entered their family’s life during RHONY Season 1. Now, both are adults with creative careers of their own, while their mom remains firmly in the Bravo universe.
“So the kids are great, and I’m between the Hamptons and New York, splitting my time,” de Lesseps told “The Daily Dish.” “I’m mainly in the Hamptons now for the summer because it’s so gorgeous.”
De Lesseps has plenty keeping her busy professionally as well. The 61-year-old Bravo veteran is currently appearing on “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,” which brought together Housewives from across the franchise to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
She’s also preparing for another television chapter with “The Golden Life,” the upcoming E! series that reunites her with fellow RHONY alums Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley and Kelly Bensimon.
But nearly 20 years after viewers first met the de Lesseps family, Victoria and Noel are now writing stories of their own.
