“Love Island USA” season 7 was filled with whirlwind romances, heated drama, and viral reality TV moments that kept viewers glued to their screens.
Unfortunately, season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales are no longer together after leaving the villa and making it into the real world. While the breakup may have disappointed fans, they, in turn, kept their attention on another fan-favorite contestant who recently confirmed she’s “off the market.”
Huda Mustafa & Louis Russell Go Instagram Official
It’s official! “Love Island USA” star Huda Mustafa and “Too Hot to Handle” contestant Louis Russell have taken their romance to the next level by going Instagram official.
Mustafa announced that she was no longer single after sharing a series of photos suggesting that Russell had asked her to be his girlfriend. One photo showed a room filled with white roses and balloons, including one that read, “Be Mine.” A short clip also showed how Mustafa reacted to the romantic gesture.
Other photos in Mustafa’s carousel captured the couple sharing sweet kisses and snapping playful selfies together. She captioned the post, “off the market.”
Two of Mustafa’s “Love Island USA” season 7 co-stars commented on her adorable post. Iris Kendall wrote, “I love love xoxo,” while the season’s winner, Amaya Espinal, shared, “My baby girl is happy.”
Fans Had Long Suspected that Mustafa & Russell Were Dating
Mustafa and Russell may have gone Instagram official, but fans already knew these two reality stars were inseparable.
Less than a month after “Love Island USA” season 7 concluded, where fans watched Mustafa unlucky in love with contestants Jeremiah Brown and Chris Seeley, she made her red carpet debut with Russell in August. The two attended the Los Angeles premiere of “Weapons,” but People reported that they had been spotted together shortly after Mustafa returned from Fiji.
During the “Love Island USA” season 7 reunion, which was filmed on Aug. 12, Mustafa was asked by hosts Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen about her relationship status after news spread of her red carpet moment. As reported by E! News, Mustafa dodged the question, sharing that she could not discuss her love life because of “legal reasons,” adding, “I’m not allowed to speak. It’s Netflix.”
Cohen was left dumbstruck and joked, “Tell Netflix this was the number one streaming show of the summer.”
During the filming of the reunion, Russell was appearing on season 3 of “Perfect Match,” with the show’s finale episode airing on Aug. 15. Perhaps Mustafa didn’t want to spoil the outcome of the show?
Now that the couple is official, they told TMZ that they are stepping away from reality television to focus on their relationship.
