The Roku Channel announced a “Laguna Beach” 20-year reunion special back in September of 2025. As the premiere is approaching, the network has released the trailer for two-hour special set to air April 10, 2026.

1. Original Cast Members Executive Produce
GettyOriginal stars Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti return to executive produce and reflect on the MTV series, officially titled “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.”
In a statement to People, series creator Gateley said,
“The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this,” she added,
“To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.”
2. Lauren Conrad & Kristin Cavallari Repair Friendship
GettyOn her podcast “Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari,” Kristin Cavallari revealed that she and her former frenemy, Lauren Conrad, made up while filming the highly anticipated reunion and were “friends.”
She told People,
“It was very therapeutic…and I think it’s funny because, if I’m being completely honest, I didn’t actually want to do it. And I’m really, really happy that I did.”
3. Jason Wahler to Reflect on Sobriety & Recovery
GettyJason Wahler first gained notoriety as Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend on the MTV shows “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills”. He provides one of the most emotional segments of the special.
Wahler transformed his life from a highly publicized battle with addiction into a career as an addiction recovery advocate. After multiple relapses, he achieved lasting sobriety, now focusing on mental health advocacy, working with treatment centers, and hosting podcasts, while maintaining over three years of sobriety as of March 2023.
5. Streams April 10, 2026 on the Roku Channel [SNEAK PEAK]
Filming for the 20-year reunion segment began October 2025.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the special focuses on the original 2004–2006 era, with cast members now in their late 30s looking back at their high school lives. The special will include “beauty shots” of the cast, discussions about their iconic love triangles, and reflections on the drama.
Confirmed attendees include Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hooser.
