‘Special Forces’ Season 4 Live Spoilers & Recap

“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” season 4 premiere is on September 25, and this season is bound to be chock-full of adrenaline rushes, brave attempts at pulling off military-inspired challenges, and some a lot of tears.

This season brings on a new cast full of reality stars, including “RHONJ” OG Teresa Giudice and her daughter, Gia Giudice, Bravolebrity Brittany Cartwright, former “RHOA” star Eva Marcille, and Kody Brown of “Sister Wives.”

The sports figures of season 4 consist of former NFL stars Andrew East, Johnny Manziel, Randall Cobb, and Eric Decker. Also in the cast are Olympic soccer winner Christie Pearce Rampone, basketball player Nick Young, and Olympian gymnast Shawn Johnson East.

Other notable figures include model Chanel Iman, podcaster Brianna LaPaglia (also known as Chickenfry), Jessie James Decker, actor Jussie Smollett, Kristen Cavallari’s ex, Mark Estes, and actor Ravi Patel.

Each episode pushes the contestants to their physical and mental limits, and they’ll either voluntarily withdraw, take a medical leave, or proceed to the next challenge.

We’ll be recapping the season 4 premiere live, so be sure to check in often to see who leaves, and who continues on to next week’s “Special Forces.”

“Special Forces” airs on Fox Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST.

The First Day of ‘Special Forces’ Season 4 Is Brutal

Season 4 of “Special Forces” takes place in Morocco, and as soon as the cast arrived, they were brutally forced to the ground and given hoods over their heads.

In a new format, the group was split into two, with Team Bravo being led by Jason “Foxy” Fox and Jovon Quarles, AKA “Q.”

The other group, Team Alpha, was being led by DS Billy Billingham and Rudy Reyes.

At the get-go, the “Special Forces” Directing Staff wasn’t amused by the celeb’s smug personalities and made them run and crawl in the mud as punishment. “If people mess around, there are consequences. Is that clear?” Fox said.

The hardship didn’t end there. The cast’s first task was to rappel from a helicopter and take supplies uphill to an extraction point. Gia Giudice took too long and was the first to fail the mission.

NBA player Nick Young also got a fail for rappelling down with his eyes closed. The first to get a win was Kody Brown, with Johnny Manziel passing as well, despite his fear of heights.

Last to go was Brittany Cartwright, who was visibly terrified and got stuck trying to get herself down. Suffice it to say, she failed.

The First to Go Home Is…

The next portion of the task had the contestants carry heavy containers to their endpoint, with the fastest team winning.

However, Cartwright and Manziel struggle with their endurance, with the latter gasping for air. Despite the ex-football player’s shortcomings, his team won the challenge, and Team Bravo was tasked with running to their bunker.

While trekking through the desert, Cartwright gassed out and told Q she couldn’t go on. “Make a decision,” he said.

“I can’t. I’m going to throw up,” the “Valley” star told him as she took off her armband. “I knew I was going to be first. I knew it. So embarrassing,” she said.

After Cartwright went home, the cast thought they were safe, but just as they were settling in, the Staff called them for an extra round of fun.

Manziel and Gia almost didn’t make it, but they stuck it out, earning their spot in next week’s episode of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
