When it comes to many reality television personalities, for example, landing a role on the dancing competition can catapult you to more success and help make you a household name around the country.
So, it shouldn’t be a huge surprise that many individuals from Bravo’s stable of reality shows want to take part in the series. Now we can add one more name to that list who wants a shot at winning the Mirrorball Trophy – “Next Gen NYC” and “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Gia Giudice.
Gia Giudice Wants To Appear on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Fresh from her recent victory on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” Giudice has revealed that she is up for competing on “Dancing With the Stars.” What’s more, she also thinks that her co-star Andrew East would be a good fit as well.
Speaking to TV Insider’s TikTok channel alongside Shawn Johnson, who competed with Giudice on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” she revealed that she would love to take part in the dancing series. Johnson explained that she was keen for her husband East to take part, following on from her appearances on the show when she won season eight in 2009 with professional dancer Mark Ballas and then placed second in the 2012 instalment “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” when she was paired up with Derek Hough.
When asked by the interviewer about what other reality shows she might be interested in, Giudice instantly replied that “Dancing With the Stars” is a dream. Speaking directly to the producers of the show, she said, “If you guys are hearing this, if I could be on the show with Andrew, I would really love that.”
Her mother, Teresa Giudice, competed with Pasha Pashkov in season 31 of the reality dance competition. They placed 15th during that season’s run.
That would see her following in the footsteps of her mother, Teresa Giudice, who took part in season 31 with Pasha Pashkov. However, Gia would likely want to do better than the 15th place that her mother managed to achieve.
Fans Think She Would Be Perfect for the Show
Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” seemed happy with the idea of Giudice appearing in the future when discussing the revelation on Reddit.
One Redditor commented, “She seems like a great choice honestly – she’s known for real housewives but just had a little bit of a breakout on her own moment with special forces where she was a total [expletive]. She’s the right level of celebrity too. I think she’d do well and she’s willing so l’m sure she’ll be on Deena’s possibility list next year.”
