Stephen Colletti is officially entering a brand-new role: dad.
The former “Laguna Beach” and “One Tree Hill” star and his wife, NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver, announced on May 14 that they welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rhodes August Colletti.
The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post featuring a black-and-white close-up image of their newborn grasping Weaver’s finger while Colletti’s hand rested nearby.
“Rhodes August Colletti,” the pair captioned the post alongside a white heart emoji.
The announcement immediately drew thousands of reactions from fans and several familiar faces from Colletti’s television career.

Colletti Previously Opened Up About Becoming a Father
The couple first announced they were expecting in January 2026 with a beachside maternity photoshoot shared on Instagram.
The black-and-white images showed Weaver and Colletti walking barefoot along the shoreline while celebrating the upcoming arrival of their son. The pair captioned the post, “Mom & Dad.”
A few months later, Colletti spoke openly about becoming a father during an interview with People at “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” premiere event in March.
“It sounds crazy, but I’m ready for my life to be put upside down in that way,” Colletti told the outlet. “I’ve been watching my wife take on pregnancy and she’s been such a superhero, such a badass.”
The actor also praised Weaver for how she handled pregnancy and admitted he was excited for the next phase of life.
“And this next chapter, I feel so fortunate it’s about to happen,” he added. “And then we’re going to be experiencing it together. And I know we’re going to have a lot to learn.”
The Couple Married in 2025
Colletti and Weaver tied the knot in October 2025 after announcing their engagement in 2023.
The pair first made their relationship Instagram official in 2022 and have largely kept their relationship private despite both having highly public careers.
Weaver is well known to NASCAR fans through her work as a host and reporter covering the sport for NASCAR digital platforms, while Colletti became a household name in the early 2000s through MTV’s “Laguna Beach” before later starring as Chase Adams on “One Tree Hill.”
Now, the couple is celebrating a very different milestone together — parenthood.
