Stephen Colletti rose to fame on MTV’s “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” and his boy-next-door vibe quickly gained him the title of a heartthrob.
It’s now been over 20 years since the beloved series first aired, and Colletti is no longer in a complicated teenage love triangle. In fact, “The Traitors” star is happily married and expecting his first child with his wife, Alex Weaver. Here are five fast facts about the soon-to-be mom.
1. Alex Weaver Is a Reporter for NASCAR
Looking at Alex Weaver’s Instagram, she proudly shows off her career as a Fox Sports host and reporter for NASCAR. According to People, Weaver, who was raised in North Carolina, attended Clemson University and began working with the motorsports organization in 2017.
Weaver grew up with her family being big fans of NASCAR, sharing in a Reddit thread, “My grandfather was a HUGE fan and never missed a race on Sundays. That’s the background I had growing up, didn’t know a whole lot about the sport other than who I was supposed to cheer for to make my grandfather happy on Sunday afternoon.”
Weaver credits sports reporter Erin Andrews as a major influence on her career, especially as both women work in a male-dominated industry. Having shared in an Instagram post, “She bent down and asked me what my favorite sport was and who I was cheering for. I grew up watching her, and I really admire the way she carries herself and the respect she commands. She gives strong interviews and receives strong answers. I love that about her.”
2. Weaver & Stephen Colletti Began Dating in 2021

The “One Tree Hill” actor proposed to Weaver the following year during a trip to Italy. The two later shared snapshots of their engagement with a photo showing the couple embracing in a kiss, while a second photo saw Weaver showcasing her stunning diamond ring with Colletti in the background. “Yes! Forever,” the images were captioned.
3. The Couple Wed in a Civil Ceremony in October 2025
Colletti and Weaver chose to wed in a civil ceremony, with the couple choosing to say “I do” in an intimate setting on October 3, 2025. The couple shared stunning photos of their big day on Instagram, with People reporting that Weaver wore a white minidress by Nadine Merabi, while Colletti wore a simple dark suit as they posed outside the courthouse.

In January, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. Sharing the news on Instagram, Colletti went back to the beach for their joint announcement, with the pair wearing matching jeans and white sweaters as Colletti held Weaver’s growing baby bump.
The post was captioned, “Mom & Dad 🤍,” with a few of Colletti’s “Laguna Beach” co-stars commenting on the exciting news.

Weaver would also be reunited with Cavallari and the rest of the cast of “Laguna Beach” when she supported her husband on the red carpet at the “The Reunion: Laguna Beach” premiere event in March. Weaver showcased her growing baby bump as she and Colletti posed for photos together.
