Taylor Frankie Paul has co-signed a fan-created petition to have her season of “The Bachelorette” released.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star was named the season 22 “Bachelorette” in fall 2025. Her season was supposed to air in March but was pulled from ABC’s spring lineup just days before its premiere.
The decision was made after a 2023 video of the reality star throwing chairs at her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in front of her daughter appeared online. She has recently been involved in a domestic violence investigation and has been remanded to probation.
Taylor Frankie Paul Hasn’t Given Up Hope On Her Season ‘The Bachelorette’

“You guys started a petition for the show. I love you all,” Taylor wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 13, alongside a link to the Change.org motion advocating for ABC to release the footage. “I signed and left the link [above].”
Taylor addressed ABC pulling the show in March, thanking the network for its support during her tough time.
“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” her rep told Us Weekly in a March statement. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
Her “blindsided” “The Bachelorette” co-stars have defended the reality star. “They all described her as kind, genuine, and well-intentioned,” the source told TMZ. “Saying they saw a softer, more authentic side of her during filming that doesn’t match the accusations.”

Parade reports that longtime “Bachelor” insider Reality Steve says the women cast for the upcoming season of “The Bachelor” have been contacted and told filming will begin in January. That means you can expect the season to air in March or April.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Steve noted that the abbreviated timeline would require ABC to turn around episodes much faster than usual. In previous years, The Bachelor typically wrapped filming in October or November before premiering in January.
What Is Next For Taylor Frankie Paul?
With her season of “The Bachelorette” pulled, Taylor Frankie Paul’s future on reality TV is uncertain.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will return for a sixth series, but it’s unclear whether Taylor will be joining the cast. MomToker Layla Taylor confirmed the news during an August 5 appearance on Hulu’s Get Real podcast, while sources separately told TMZ the network ordered 20 new episodes for the upcoming series.
That source said Hulu was holding its “cards close to its chest” regarding whether Taylor will be appearing alongside Jen Affleck, Mayci Neeley and Miranda Hope.
Back in March, TMZ stated that production on season 5 “hit an unexpected pause” due to a “blowup” between Taylor and her ex Dakota. A separate source confirmed to People that the show was “not filming,” and that “Taylor has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off.”
When filming resumed, Taylor was not included but apparently did return to film content for the show’s introduction. It remains to be seen what role she will play on season 6 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
