Is Curtis About To Lose Everything? ‘General Hospital’ Recap For Wednesday, May 27, 2026

On Wednesday’s episode of “General Hospital,” tensions continued escalating across Port Charles as several residents found themselves facing life-changing consequences. While Curtis (Donnell Turner) learned that the fallout from his violent confrontation with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) may be far worse than he expected, Kristina (Kate Mansi) opened up about the painful loss that inspired her future plans.

Meanwhile, Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) struggled to agree on how to bring Rocco (Finn Carr) home safely, and Ric’s (Rick Hearst) growing jealousy threatened to complicate his emotional reunion with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).

Here’s everything that happened on the May 27, 2026, episode of “GH.”

Kristina Opens Up About The Real Reason She Applied To Med School

At Bobbie’s, Molly proudly revealed that Kristina had officially been accepted into UCLA’s medical school. While Molly was eager to celebrate her sister’s accomplishment, Kristina appeared far more conflicted about what the opportunity would actually mean for her future.

Later, the sisters shared an emotional conversation about the loss of baby Adela/Irene, Kristina’s biological daughter, whom she had been carrying for Molly and T.J. Ashford to raise as their own.

Kristina admitted that losing the baby and spending time in the hospital afterward was ultimately what inspired her to pursue medicine. However, she also questioned whether she was capable of fully committing to something as demanding as medical school, especially considering her tendency to walk away from things in the past.

Molly quickly shut down those fears, reassuring Kristina that she believes she can follow through and reminding her that Adela/Irene’s memory could help push her forward.

Lulu And Dante Clash Over How To Find Rocco

Elsewhere, Lulu and Dante continued struggling over what to do next as the search for Rocco intensified. While Lulu pushed to involve the FBI and pursue kidnapping charges against Britt, Dante worried that involving federal authorities would only make the situation even more dangerous.

Dante admitted that before Rocco disappeared, Nathan had encouraged him to send his son away for protection. He even revealed that he had considered asking Sonny to hide them before Lulu called to say Rocco was missing.

Things became even more complicated when Sonny later arrived with a warning of his own. According to Sonny, Lulu was already on the WSB’s radar, meaning any attempt by her or Dante to track down Rocco themselves could unintentionally expose Britt and Rocco’s location.

Instead, Sonny explained that he already had Brick working behind the scenes to find them discreetly, which Dante and Lulu reluctantly agreed was their safest option.

Gio Struggles With Guilt Over Rocco’s Disappearance

Gio later arrives at Sonny’s office, where Sonny immediately asks whether he has heard from either Dante or Rocco.

After Gio confirms he hasn’t, Sonny breaks the news that Rocco has officially left town with Britt. Gio then admits that Rocco came to him upset beforehand, but never explained exactly what was going on.

Feeling guilty over betraying his brother’s trust by going to Dante, Gio confides that he fears Rocco may never forgive him. However, Sonny reassures his grandson that the damage between brothers is rarely permanent, pointing to his own complicated history with Ric as proof that trust can eventually be rebuilt.

Although Gio remains worried about Rocco’s safety, Sonny insists that Britt genuinely cares about him, even if her actions are misguided.

Curtis Faces Serious Consequences After Attacking Isaiah

Across town, the fallout from Curtis and Isaiah’s violent confrontation continued spreading throughout the Ashford family. Curtis remained convinced that Isaiah was responsible for leaving him and Jordan stranded after the car accident and argued that Isaiah helped escalate the confrontation between them.

Jordan, however, urged Curtis to stop focusing on the past before things caused even more damage to their family. Despite her attempts to calm the situation, Curtis clearly wasn’t ready to let go of his anger.

At General Hospital, Assistant District Attorney Justine Turner reviewed statements from both Isaiah and Portia ahead of Curtis’s arraignment. When questioning Isaiah about his side of events, Isaiah informs ADA Turner that he suffered 11 fractures and two strained tendons in his hand.

Dr. Portia Robinson then informs that this will prevent Isisah from performing a life-saving liver transplant for a 10-year-old boy that was scheduled for the following week. On top of that, the doctors also relay that it is currently unknown if Isaiah will ever step into an operating room again.

Things only became more emotional later when Isaiah opened up to Kai about feeling personally responsible for Derek’s uncertain future. Frustrated and overwhelmed, Isaiah admitted he regretted escalating the fight with Curtis and blamed himself for putting Derek’s surgery at risk.

By the end of the episode, Curtis’s legal troubles officially became much more serious when Justine informed both Curtis and Jordan that he would be charged with felony assault and battery.

Trina Gets Caught In The Middle Of Her Family’s Feud

As tensions continued escalating between Curtis and Isaiah, Trina found herself stuck in the middle of the growing divide within her family.

After visiting Curtis and Jordan, Trina later tried convincing Portia to ask Isaiah to show Curtis some mercy before the arraignment. However, after speaking with Isaiah herself, Portia ultimately decided not to interfere.

At the same time, Kai openly blamed Curtis for putting Derek’s life at risk after Isaiah’s injuries jeopardized the surgery. Although Trina defended her father, it was clear she also understood why Kai was so upset, leaving her emotionally torn between the people she loves most.

Ric’s Jealousy Begins To Surface Around Elizabeth And Dante

Ric rushes to Elizabeth’s side after he’s heard she’s been brutally attacked. Elizabeth assures Ric that that characterization is an exaggeration of what really went down, but does confess that Britt did lock her in the bathroom after Elizabeth tried to stop her from leaving town with Rocco.

Ric initially wanted Britt arrested immediately, but his anger eventually gave way to vulnerability as he admitted just how much Elizabeth still means to him. Elizabeth appeared genuinely touched by the confession and even hinted that she believes they may finally have another real chance together.

However, the mood quickly shifted once Elizabeth brought up Dante and his fears over losing Rocco. Although Ric tried to hide it, his jealousy became increasingly obvious, hinting that Dante’s presence could still threaten Ric and Elizabeth’s fragile reconciliation.

With relationships continuing to fracture and the fallout only growing worse, Port Charles may be heading toward even more heartbreak in the days ahead.
