More celebrities are rallying behind longtime “Saturday Night Live” writer Jimmy Fowlie as he continues searching for his missing sister.
Fowlie, who has worked on “SNL” for over 50 episodes, has been using social media in hopes of finding his sister, Christina Lynn Downer, who has been missing since late November.
Fowlie has since posted a missing person flyer with details of his sister.
“My sister has been missing, and we are worried that she isn’t safe,” he wrote in the caption. “Her married name is Downer, but she may go by Christina Fowlie. Please share this so that if anyone has seen her, they can give any information to the police.”

GettySince news of Fowlie’s sister’s disappearance broke, several celebrities have shown their support for the “SNL” writer.
Comedian Kenan Thompson wrote, “I’m so sorry to hear this Jimmy!”
TV personality Scheana Shay commented, “Sharing again and praying sooooo hard!”
Actress Brenna D’Amico wrote, “Sending you and your family love Jimmy. Just shared,” while Casey Wilson shared, “Posting now, I’m so sorry.”
Actress and writer Leslie-Anne Huff Panaligan also commented, “Sending you and Christina all my love and support. May she be found safe and healthy asap.”
Meanwhile, several high-profile celebrities also reposted Fowlie’s appeal, including John Stamos.
In his Instagram Stories, the soap star urged his followers to take action, saying, “Please🙏 print and distribute this flyer,” Stamos wrote. “My friend’s sister is missing, and they could use our help right now.”
Jimmy Fowlie Gives Latest Update About Missing Sister
In his most recent update, Fowlie confirmed that his sister is still missing and continued to appeal for help in locating her.
“My sister is still missing,” Fowlie wrote. “If you want to join me tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1pm at the east side for flyering, please email findchristinaLA@gmail.com. Thank you all for the help so far. The LA community has been very supportive.”
Fowlie said in another post that his sister was last seen in Koreatown and that he last heard from her on November 26th. He added that she was active on social media up to December 15th.
“At this time, the detectives have advised us not to share certain details so we don’t compromise the case,” Fowlie said. “Thank you to everyone who has gotten the word out. I’ll share updates as I get them.”
