‘Young & the Restless’ Stars ‘Can’t Stop’ Celebrating Major Milestone (Video)

The hit CBS soap “The Young and the Restless” just marked its 53rd anniversary, and some of the cast members celebrated in style. Lauralee Bell (Christine) gave fans a look into the good times the stars had to mark the major milestone that began with her parents, William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, in 1973.


Celebrating 53 Years of ‘The Young and the Restless’

In an Instagram post, Bell shared a video set to Miley Cyrus hit song “Can’t Stop” to acknowledge the show’s anniversary. Bell gave fans a look at the cast having some behind-the-scenes fun for the special occasion.

Billy Flynn (Cane) and Sean Dominic (Nate) showed off their handshake moves in the footage. Michael Graziadei (Daniel) had a high-five moment with co-stars Bell, Michael Damian (Danny), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren). The group then busted a dance move to show their excitement.

Newly returned from maternity leave, Christel Khalil (Lily) got her groove on with Vivica A. Fox (Stephanie), who is back filming the CBS soap for the first time in over three decades.

Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) did a little booth dancing, while Peter Bergman (Jack) and Stacy Haiduk (Patty) ditched the dancing for a celebration shot. Sharon Case (Sharon), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Joshua Morrow (Nick), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Mark Grosman (Adam), Eric Braeden (Victor), and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) all got in on the action with their various moves.

“Y & R’s cast and crew can’t stop and we won’t stop thanking you for getting us to our 53rd Anniversary. It’s so exciting to be #1 and going strong thanks to you!! @youngandrestlesscbs #thereisnouswithoutyou,” Bell wrote as her caption on the social media share.


Stars Mark “The Young and the Restless” Anniversary

Along with the dancing, several stars past and present from the hit CBS soap showed up in the comments section of Bell’s post to speak out about the special anniversary.

“The Young and the Restless” alum and current “Days of Our Lives” star Greg Rikaart wrote, “Happy Birthday, Y’all!!! 💥💥💥.”

Haiduk, who just returned to the CBS show after a 10-year break, gushed, “So amazing!!!!!! Happy 53!!!!!!? So thrilled!!!!! Cheers!🥂 ❤️.” The actress also called the video “Awesome.”

Braun chimed in to say, “woohoo!!!🎉🔥🎊 Happy Happy!” and Courtney Hope (Sally) stated, “🎉🥰 Happy 53!!!”

Cait Fairbanks (Tessa), Bryton James (Devon), Valarie Pettiford (Amy), Adams, Egan, and Stafford all left emojis on the video. “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jennifer Gareis, who used to be on “The Young and the Restless,” left a red heart emoji.
