“The Young and the Restless” fan favorite Christel Khalil (Lily) has given a rare look at her family after giving birth to her third child. Khalil is notoriously private about her family and even kept her third pregnancy under wraps, but she gave fans a glimpse of her family as she shared a life update.
Christel Khalil’s Life Update Featured Family Moments
In an Instagram post, the soap star shared a carousel of photos to let fans know what she’s been up to lately. Khalil returned to work at “The Young and the Restless” in mid-February after taking maternity leave following the birth of her third child, which she has given no details about.
Six photos made up Khalil’s Instagram post. The first one featured her with her “The Young and the Restless” co-stars, Bryton James (Devon), Sean Dominic (Nate), and Nathan Owens (Holden), while another picture also featured Khalil as Lily on set and differente one showed her working out.
There were a couple of photos of Khalil holding her new baby, but the little one’s face was never shown, which is on par for the very private actress. One picture also showed Khalil’s husband, Sam Restagno, and toddler son, Remy. Along with her son Remy, and new baby with Restagno, Khalil is also mom to son Michael with her ex-husband Stephen Hensley.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Star Christel Khalil Teases First Week Back at Work
This isn’t the first time that Khalil has given fans a brief glimpse into her personal and work life in the past couple of weeks. She teased her first week back on set. Hidden in a slew of photos in an Instagram share, Khalil had more family moments, including a close-up of her husband.
However, the social media post mainly focused on her return to the CBS soap. Khalil posed with several of her co-stars, like Billy Flynn (Cane), Dominic, James, and Amelia Heinle (Victoria). There was even a video of Khalil getting Lily ready in the makeup chair, as well as one of Michell Stafford (Phyllis) getting on-set direction.
It was quite the first week for Khalil, who should be back on-screen as Lily by the end of March. Upon her return to the CBS show, news broke that Shemar Moore (Malcolm) was back to filming the hit CBS soap. Khalil and two of her co-stars also gave a first look at Shemar on set with a Winters family reunion.
