“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 31, reveal that Cane Ashby makes a bold move to impress Lily Winters.
Adam Newman and Sally Spectra discuss their complicated past. Meanwhile, Tessa Porter explores her feelings for Daniel Romalotti.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam & Sally Reminisce
CBSOn Wednesday, Sally and Adam run into each other at Society. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say the redhead brings up the Abbott-Newman war and Adam’s role in it.
Adam asks Sally to have a drink and try not to fight. She agrees, and the two flash back to the first time they spent New Year’s Eve together.
Sally asks how it’s going with Chelsea, and Adam says they’re doing well. He then tells her he’s worried that she’s with Billy Abbott, but Sally insists she’s happy.
“I don’t want you to get hurt,” Adam tells her. Sally makes a face, and Adam realizes she’s been worrying about the same thing. As the clock counts down to the new year, they raise a toast together.
Cane & Lily Kiss
Meanwhile, Lily shows up at Cane’s train. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Cane tells her that he planned to spend New Year’s Eve alone, adding that he’s happy she’s there.
Lily tells Cane she hopes the launch party didn’t give him false hope. Cane admits he thought they had a good time.
“It wasn’t the real you,” Lily points out. “So, I don’t think there’s a reunion for us, I think we are farther apart than ever.”
Cane is upset and asks why she even bothered to show up there. Lily calls him a liar and reveals she saw him kissing Phyllis Summers.
“Just after we had this great night where I think that maybe, maybe you and I…I feel so stupid,” Lily says.
Cane insists that’s not what happened. “I am not going to let you play me again,” Lily replies.
“She kissed me! I would never risk losing you again,” Cane says. He then
tells Lily she’s the only woman he will ever love.
Lily tells him that she only came to tell him to stay away from her. But Cane isn’t buying it. “You want me as much as I want you,” he adds. “So why don’t you just admit it.”
Cane moves closer and asks Lily to stop pretending. “So will you please let me love you?” Cane kisses Lily, and she kisses him back.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Tessa & Daniel Cross the Line
CBSAlso on Wednesday, Tessa tells Daniel that she lost Mariah. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say she finds out that her wife left the clinic without informing her.
Tessa adds that Mariah sent a gift to Aria, but wouldn’t video chat with their daughter. “All I can hear in my head is that she is never coming home,” Tessa adds. “I don’t matter to her anymore.”
Daniel says they don’t know what’s really going on in Mariah’s head, but Tessa declares she’s sick of getting hurt. Daniell tells Tessa he’s there for whatever she needs.
“I need to feel loved,” Tessa says, kissing him. The two end up at Daniel’s apartment and make love. Is this really the end for Tessa and Mariah?
