Auditioned For Them All
Sage really wanted to be on one of CBS’s reality TV shows. Before finally making it on “Survivor” season 49, she actually served as an alternate for season 47 in 2023.
She actually flew out to Fiji, but never made it onto the cast. A year later, she was back in Fiji, more prepared since dealing with it all before.
Besides “Survivor,” Sage also applied to be a houseguest on “Big Brother.” She discovered the show while deployed in Afghanistan with the U.S. military.
She kept applying every year, but was never successful. Sage did, however, make it to the final round of casting auditions for season 25 in 2023.
That just so happened to be the same season that “Survivor” legend Cirie Fields appeared on the show. Maybe it was a sign “Survivor” was the show for her?
Sage’s Key Moments on ‘Survivor’ 49
Sage seems to be the type of player who plays with their emotions. Not always the smartest of moves, but it can make for entertaining television.
Her ride-or-die this season was Jawan. Once they blindsided him, Sage switched her focus. She had always wanted Savannah out, but was determined to get Sophie out first because she flipped on them, and she wanted revenge for Jawan.
Then, like two weeks later, she goes and does the same thing. The focus was on Savannah, but after she won immunity, who was next? It would have made sense to go after Sophi, but Sage got afraid and went with everyone else in voting Steven, one of her alliance members, out of the game.
