Savannah Louie’s Fate
Did Savannah Louie win? The answer is…YES! The jury voted, and they went Sophi, Savannah, Sage, Sophi, Savannah, Savannah, and Savannah. That meant Savannah has been named the winner of Season 49!
Preparing to Be on ‘Survivor’
Savannah spent a lot of her childhood playing after-school sports, which could explain why she has been so good at the challenges. However, she said she’s been preparing to be on the show since she was a teenager.
In an interview with CBS News, she said, “I started watching before I could really understand what ‘Survivor’ was. And I’ve always loved the show ever since I was like, you know, this tall, right? So the first time I applied, I was 17 years old.”
Applying at the age of 17, but not actually making it onto the show until 14 years later, huh? That should inspire people to never stop applying. She said she continued to train her body, mind, and spirit during that time.
Savannah’s Key Moments on ‘Survivor’ 49
The huge thing about Savannah and her play on “Survivor” season 49 has to be the fact that she is a challenge beast. Of the six individual Immunity Challenges, she has won three of them.
There are still two Immunity Challenges remaining on tonight’s finale. If Savannah happens to win them both (no other castaways left on the show right now have won an individual immunity), then she would make “Survivor” history.
Savannah would become the first woman to win five individual Immunity Challenges in a single season. Can she turn that into a $1 million check, also?
This feat has not only been amazing to watch, but it has also saved her game on several occasions. Securing an immunity win kept her and Rizo safe, so the castaways had to focus on someone else.
