Who Got Voted Off On ‘Survivor’ 49 Last Night

Jeff Probst is back to stirring the game on “Survivor” season 49. Just when the castaways were adjusting to the tribe swap from two weeks ago, last night’s episode, “The Devil’s Shoes,” brings yet another surprise twist. The two tribes will split into three, with only four members each, leaving little room for hiding or relying on old alliances. With new groupings and high stakes challenges, the castaways must rethink strategy, watch for shifting loyalties, and hope to avoid being voted off. See last tribal council here. The following contains spoilers from last night’s episode.

Tribal Council & Vote Results

The newly formed Hina Tribe is first to win immunity followed by Uli, stay tuned for updates on tribal council where someone from Kele will go home. Steven explains at tribal council that the merge is plays a major factor in the decision.

The seventh person voted out of “Survivor” 49 is Shannon. Jawan received one vote.

Old Alliances Face New Tensions

The recent eliminations of Matt and Jason from the Hina tribe have left lingering tensions between the remaining Hina members and the Uli faction. Savannah has already set her sights on Jawan after claiming he used her belongings, signaling that cracks in alliances are forming even before the night’s challenge begins.

MC is quietly navigating her position within the Yellow tribe, aware of Rizo’s hidden idol, and preparing to leverage her Beware Advantage if necessary.

Past eliminations continue to shape the game. Matt and Jason’s exits have clearly shifted power dynamics, while Christina’s early struggles still resonate, influencing tribe morale. These former players’ fates serve as a constant reminder that in “Survivor,” no alliance is guaranteed and one misstep can be fatal.

New Tribes, High-Stakes Challenges

On Day 11, the castaways are faced with another shakeup: a tribe swap that splits them into three smaller groups. The new tribes are Yellow (Hina) with MC, Sophi, Rizo, and Savannah; Red (Uli) with Christina, Alex, Matt, and Sophie; and Blue (Kele) with Steven, Shannon, Sage, and Jawan. Their first challenge tests both teamwork and endurance: moving a cart across a course, collecting sandbags, and using discs to knock down four targets.

Yellow dominates, with Rizo taking down all the targets first, earning the tribe a reward of grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips, iced tea, and chocolate brownies. Red finishes second and receives just grilled cheese, while Blue comes up empty-handed. Christina experiences a panic attack during the swap but quickly recovers after medical attention. Meanwhile, Steven and Jawan bond over jokes and shared interests, while Sage hints at hidden alliances forming among the Blue tribe, showing how old loyalties from previous weeks still influence the game.

With the tribes smaller and the stakes higher, last night’s episode promises a mix of strategy, tension, and unexpected twists. Every decision counts, and one wrong move could send a castaway home. “Survivor 49” continues to prove that no player is ever truly safe.
